  • These have been on the list for a long time, and we are really excited to finally have them in place!
These lockers are awesome and allow you to store four 20litre jerry cans (or whatever you like really) outside the vehicle, in what would otherwise be wasted space. The idea of cutting two massive holes in the sides of your Defender definitely seems daunting at first, but trust us, it's worth it!

Great video, thanks. I hope you painted the holes you drilled in the chassis. Bare steel will rust like crazy otherwise..

Did you apply any underbodyprotection to the locker before put it in place? Also a great place for extra batteries. Good video!

    Thank you!
I've got to the stage of having a huge great hole in the side of my 110 and then tried to fit the brackets and got confused.
The instructions could have said which way round they go, the little bracket in particular isn't that clear.

So having now finished the job...
I had to mount the long bracket underneath the support on the chassis, if I put it on top like you have it then nothing lined up properly.
I also had to trim the tub mounts like you did, but I put the L bracket as far as it would go toward the outside so only had to trim one.
Finally, I had to trim the fuel filter shield that you don't seem to have, because the back corner of the box interfered with it.

Cool video and nice job (y). I dont want to be a pain in arse but next time please use proper PPE when you using power tools. As a profesional Welder and Fabricator I had few injuries in past and believe me, you dont want that. ;-)
