  • The Janggay or 'Igal Janggay" is a dance that is performed to the tradition of the Pangalay. Pangalay being a predominant dance form favorite among the gentle people of the Sulu archipelago. The fingernails (Janggay) also mimic the claws of the birds and is considered one of the “bird” dances.
    Performed by the LUngsoranon Performing Arts Ensemble (LUPAE), a school based cultural troupe in Tubigon, Bohol. Most members are high school students. Alumni member are also welcome to perform with the group. It aims to preserve and instill appreciation to Philippine Folk Songs and Dances to young Tubignon individuals.

      Nope sir. LUngsoranon is a performing cultural troupe from the town of Tubigon in the province of Bohol in the Visayas islands.
