I couldn't believe they didn't adapt Magiranger Vs Dekaranger they literally had the Battelizer that was originally from Power Rangers SPD how could they not adapt it
That's what I was thinking. But it probably had to to do with the costs of bringing back some actors and stuff. This was at the point where Disney was tired of running the show. I bet the reason so many of the Disney team-ups were original footage was due to the vs movies being a separate deal when it comes to licensing sentai footage.
Well SPD takes place in the future while Dekaranger takes place during the present so they would have to find a reason why The SPD rangers had to travel to the past or why the Mystic Force would travel to the future both of which have already happen with the SPD/ Dino Thunder team ups so it’s also possible they didn’t want to repeat the same story
FourthStreetSaint True, but they could explain it as time travel magic. Or maybe the SPD rangers accidentally landed in 2006 when they went through the wormhole to get back home.

According to The Ranger Database. Pua Magasiva had been struggling with his mental health for a long time, and it had been tormenting him for years. During this time, he'd write a lot of worrying messages that he'd been bottling up from his wife. Their marriage went under following the assault, since, according to news articles, he'd lashed out at her whilst having a mental breakdown. He'd later pass away after committing suicide. I feel for the guy, to be honest. Whilst I think hitting his wife was going a little far, it was obvious he was going through a lifelong crisis, and that he'd finally had enough. Does it excuse it? No. But I don't feel like bashing on the dead, cause that would be a pointless endeavour.
His family has my condolences.
Rest in peace, Pua. Your role as Disney's first red will be remembered for generations to come.

Megaforceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee I hate this season
I grew up with S.P.D. and Mystic Force. I was devastated when I heard that they didn’t adapt Magiranger vs Dekaranger. Disney were so successful with the team up crossovers, I don’t know why they didn’t proceed. I always like a Magic vs. Technology fighting.
Super megaforce was all Nick’s fault. If they didn’t make that stupid rule of 20 eps per season, then Super megaforce would have been a separate, and much better show. The same can be said for the other Neo Saban shows.
P.S At SDCC one question that Hasbro was asked was about them adapting Kaman Rider. They said that they didn’t know what that is, but we can have hopes that they will eventually look into it see what they could do with Kaman Rider in the future.
It was more of the producers fault. The writers wanted to only do Gokaiger but were given orders to merge it with Goseiger. Supposedly Saban couldn’t skip a Sentai. If that was true, then I bet the disaster of that show is what caused Toei to let them skip Go-Busters.
But I agree that 20 episodes a year has limited recent Power Rangers shows. The use of the “Super” title was especially baffling.
JulioCoolio Also at SDCC, Hasbro said that season 2 of Beast Morphers won’t have “super” in its title.
Joseph Brooks I know, it’s great! There’s no reason to add “super” when there’s nothing “super” about the ranger powers.
Power ranger epoisde did get shorter. Use to make around 50 episodes a seasons. Was originally a 5 day a week show until they dropped it to only 1 day a week.
@@KentPetersonmoney The one-day thing happened long ago. It's actually better that way since they don't run the risk of drying up in terms of new material to air.
The whole 20 episodes a year rule Nick has is supposedly something that applies to every show, minus SpongeBob.

RIP Shane, you and Connor McKnight are my favorite red rangers. Dino Thunder and Ninja Storm were the first seasons I watched entirely as a kid in 2003/04.

I am kind of disappointed that we never got a Ninja Storm team up with the Ninja Steel Rangers. I mean truly wasted opportunity here.
I am also a sucker for a good old fashion Magic vs Science battle between SPD and Mystic Force.
M567dk I would’ve taken just one phone call to get David Bacon, and one walk to get Pua. It’s a shame this team-up never happened, even though they ended up using the Megazord footage for some reason.
@Just Passingby Forever Red at least had more going for it due to all of the cut content. I liked Dimensions in Danger, but it really could've used an extended cut like the Legendary Battle.

I'm honestly disappointed with the seasons that had no crossovers. I would've loved to see the Samurai rangers and the RPM rangers have a real team up and real team up episodes in Super Megaforce.

It was one of my favorite of all time. Top 5 fore me. And now is sad that Pua pass away and that a reunion would not happen or so it would it seem. He and Ninjastorm was a really important part of life. The same with Tui Tran MMP Yellow ranger. R.I.P.

It seems to be Ninja Storm was hands down everyone's favorite Disney season (if not favorite season overall). I can speak for myself and a few of my friends that we were older at the time but that season got us back into the franchise. It's such a fan favorite season, its a shame it never got more opportunities for crossovers and team-ups. Such wasted potential.
Yeah, Ninja Storm seems to be a fan cohorte. I also really liked it, and it’s a shame we haven’t seen the cast return since.

Ever since “Once A Ranger” there hasn’t been a full legitimate team-up w/ these recent seasons. The only individual team-up episode that was actually pretty okay is “Dimensions in Danger” over “Legendary Battle”. At least Disney put some effort into weaving a creative overall storyline for each of their seasons to look back on and enjoy. RIP Pua Magasiva
It is truly disheartening and sad that there were so many missed Ninja Storm cast reunions for quite many appearances post their team-up w/ DinoThunder. There was even a rumor at one point that there were suppose to (take w/ a grain of salt) team-up w/ the Jungle Fury rangers. And that’s aside from all the other missed Sentai footage episodes from recent sentai seasons.
Also i think the issues may come more from the production side of things because for the current season Beast Morphers they are NOW going to utilize the Go-Busters Vs Kyouryuuger team-up movie footage which guest stars the Tyrannoranger, AbaRed, & AbareBlue (& AbareYellow was contacted to come back as well but declined). In THIS case they COULD’ve tried harder to get the whole MMPR cast back this time plus reach out to the DinoThunder cast. For the later they didnt unfortunately as James Napier/Conner aka DinoThunder Red isnt set come back either. That makes another missed opportunity aside from the Ninninger special episode mentioned in this video.
You missed one there was supposed to be a Wild Force and Ninja Storm crossover
I talked to the actress who portrayed Taylor the Yellow Wild Force Ranger at Power Morphicon last year she said there were plans for those 2 to have a crossover episode but due to the move to New Zealand it didn’t happen
BEAST_ 1996 Yeah, this video was only about some of the unused crossovers I felt were the most important. I’ll be talking about more of them in a sequel video.
Piggy’s cameo, Bridge and Xander appearing in “Once a Ranger”, and both teams appearing in “Legendary Battle” are the only three times we got a crossover with SPD and Mystic Force. Would’ve been interesting for Jenji to meet Kat, Kruger, and RIC. And for Boom to meet Phineas. A time travel spell could’ve probably been used for this crossover.

That’s what I was about to say. It seems like they used Skyfire to set up more space sheriffs like Gavan, especially since Skyfire talked about his “superiors”.

The newer seasons need a little work. They reduced it down to a kid's education show. We need more creativity like sentai does.
The Neo-Saban seasons talked down to kids more than Sesame Street. Especially in Ninja Steel, where the moral of the day and fart jokes were the primary focus. According to Chip and some other staff, Sbana wanted the show to be dumbed down t capture the "MMPR feel".Ninjago is a far better example of how to subtly teach morals while providing an engaging story.
Thankfully, Beast Morphers has a good balance between action and comedy. Even some episodes that normally would be "filler" are fun and feel important to the plot.
As for sentai, Ryusoulger is sadly pretty bad IMO. I stopped after episode 3 and from what I've seen it might be on the same level of Ninninger in terms of inconsistent writing.

They need to have newer seasons to appeal to both kids and older fans like Power Rangers in Space and the seasons afterwords.
Sentai is more mature and not for kids, but they always have a better-written story. They need to take notes from Sentai but not copy it.

You can't even explain such seasons like Go-Onger and, of course, Ninninger. So Sentai being 'more mature' is an overstatement.
Now that Zero One is airing later on as the first Reiwa Rider, I think they should bring back power rider starting with the adaptation of Zero One, and then when future riders come in the Reiwa era, it should go as a chain, like how power rangers adapted form super sentai.

When I was a kid, I never coinsidered Power Rangers as super heroes. Idk what I thought they were, but I guess Super heroes to me were Batman, Superman, and Spider-Man, so maybe they didn’t fit that mold for me.
Diego Rodriguez That’s sadly what most of society thinks. The truth is Power Rangers does count like Batman or Spider-Man. I don’t get this stigma of it being a “cheesy kids show”.

The lost a pua is tragic I first got into rangers due ninja storm and he played a character who I saw myself in a cocky,skater who tries to prove his family his death was like my death
This is why it's harder to enjoy Rangers now. They don't do crossovers anymore, or even good enough ones, save for the one in Ninja Steel. I was excited to learn Mega Force was supposed to be an epic team up, but aside from two to three cameos in Super Megaforce everything else happened in the season finale, and it was all pretty much sentai footage. I was even disappointed they weren't able to do a Wild Force Ninja Storm crossover. I mean in the Japanese crossover the had some of the Wildzords combine with the Thunder Storm megazord. Let's hope the up and coming crossover with Beast Morphers will be good because we do know Jason is making a return, and who knows how many others might be with him.
It’s sad to see these crossovers cancelled but, about the Kamen rider one there’s still hope, toei recently said that if they ever adapt it they would be adapting something in Reiwa, and due to 01 coming out this September which is partially based on spy’s...and with the announcement of season 2 of beast force...I forget the name of the current season LoL, we could see an adapted zero one apear, but that would honestly mean new stock footage so maybe they could do it when the Do ryusoulger, finishing power rangers and starting power riders

Toei has been trying to expand Rider in the west since they lost Power Rangers, so an American rider show could happen soon.

Ashley Dortch They don’t earn as much money from Power Rangers anymore since it’s not under Bandai’s control. The only revenue they get is from licensing the Sentai footage to Hasbro, but nothing from toy sales. Which is the biggest monetary factor for these shows.
Here's one way a Mystic Force/SPD crossover could have happened. After the events of the episode Wormhole, both Grum and the SPD rangers make their way back to their own time. Unfortunately on their way back, they both got caught up in some sort of cosmic storm and ended up being forced out and in the Mystic Force timeline. Realizing that Grum might retry what he did with Zeltrax in the Dino Thunder timeline, the SPD Rangers and the Mystic Force Rangers team up to stop him and his forces.
beast moprhers is getting a team up next year. Also it was Mr.Zachar you can blame for nearly killing power rangers. He wanted the samurai team to kept in the house EVERYONE SAID NO
Jonathan Tzachor is a Sentai purist under contract. He wants to make Power Rangers bad in order to make Sentai look good.

My guess is that the reason why the mystic force and SPD crossover was budget. Disney was apparently a major obstacle with a rather minuscule budget.
They were already trying to cancel the show around the time Overdrive premiered. In fact, they were embarrassed to have it from what I’ve heard.

Or a wild froce ninja strom crossover. Imagine Cole seeing ninja strom having 2 red rangers. He goes man your team have 2 red rangers to just like time froce. Which one of you are the leader?
@@KentPetersonmoney That would've been a neat moment in a crossover, though Crimson and Red looks pretty different. I used to think Crimson was a purple ranger as a little kid.

It would’ve been nice to see the Power Rangers Turbo crossover with the Beetleborgs. We did get the comic. But having that made into an episode of the show would’ve been way more epic

Agreed. I think the Decade and Shinkenger 2 parter was a fun ep. The idea on bringing that over and showing past riders via Decade's powers would maybe have sparked interest. Though with Kuuga and Diend in there but a major part of it.
Just a missed op one shot and a smart chance as if whatever means Saban heard how fans woukd want to know more on "Who was that pink guy"
Who knows though on what next Sentai may get adapted but if Kyuranger does hope Hasbro takes the chance and include the Ex-Aid episode. Easy way to test market.

And they could have had crossovers that didn't even have sentai footage. It would have been beyond awesome to see Jungle Fury team up with RPM. We could have seen 2 similar ranger design concepts, with different applications of those concepts, fight together in an amazing harmony between the two teams.
You forgot the Hurricanger VS Gaoranger crossover. That could've been an awesome Ninja Storm X Wild Force 46-minute duo episode combo.

Archzenom well simple, wild force cast was last to be in U.S. and ninja storm was first in New Zealand so they wouldn’t pay for their plane ticket from what I know

If Hasbro Do Adapt Power Rider I Would Like To See Kamen Rider Fourze
Zachary Williams Fourze could work due to the high school theme and how it aired at the same time as Go-Busters. Given how it referenced past riders, it could work as a gateway to reintroduce the Masked Rider characters.
Perhaps Kamen Rider Zero One would be a possible adaption to US, because it's like the original kamen rider, but more future feel to it. Plus having a Wolf and Cheetah Kamen Rider is a better team.
They should have had tommy and rocky use the ninja on the ninja steel team up
Now that you mention it, this would’ve been a perfect opportunity for Tommy, Kat, and Rocky to use their Ninjetti powers again. At least we got the Falconzord, which was pretty surprising.

You know, even the Zordon Era team-ups could've been used. Just as Ohranger vs Kakuranger was used to let the Earth and Aquitar teams finally team up, there are places to fit 'em: near the end of Turbo, we knew the trouble that would eventually lead to Power Rangers in Space was brewing. That says to me, it's time to break out the Zeo Crystal and let the old Rangers return to action to help while the new ones stay in Angel Grove, naturally with Carranger vs Ohranger used to let them team up before parting ways. Also during Turbo, robot duplicates of the Rangers were made to help out on Eltar. The Space Rangers could help the roboTurbo Rangers in Megaranger vs Carranger footage.
Not every Sentai needs to be adapted as a Power Rangers episode
Morgan the Magnificent True, some episodes can be skipped. But it’s always sad when team-ups are the ones that get axed.
Megaforce had a whole episode dedicated to a side character, an American exclusive one mind you, yet couldn’t get the money to bring back at least one actor for a proper tribute. The only reason Jungle Fury Red came back was because his actor wrote a few episodes of Megaforce.
JulioCoolio You have a good point there. I will admit, Megaforce specifically had a lot of missed opportunities and is usually brought up as one of the series' of Power Rangers that aren't as good as the others. I apologise if my comment came across as quite negative or rather rude

I think I know why the SPD & Mystic Force crossover didn't happen. If you remember the final episode of SPD, Jack leaves the team, and Sky becomes the new Red Ranger(plus, Bridge became the Blue Ranger). I can't blame the producers for not doing the crossover, especially how the story went in English. I doubt Jack would return to the team after his departure. It just wouldn't feel right. If you watched SPD from beginning to end like me, you'd probably remember that Sky wanted to be Red in honer of his father. But that didn't happen, and he was disappointed. When Sky got promoted to Red, he was pleased to fulfil his dream.
Jungle Fury teaming up with Operation Overdrive also didn't happen. The *entire* team departed after the final battle. Hence the reason we never got to see them team up.

Well technically the cameo thing wasn’t something Gokiager was offering Super Megaforce to do. It was something they could have done but PR had a more difficult challenge pulling it off. Still take Super Mega of Not so super Dino Charge.

I've heard about a three-way crossover special in the sentai between all past dinosaur-themed seasons. So Mighty Morphin, Dino Thunder, and Dino Charge. In the special Goldar somehow comes back and It takes the combined might of the three teams to take him down. Evan all three Megazords come back for the final clash against giant Goldar.
Chaos-Zakai That special is already happening in Beast Morphers season 2.
They could have made Gokaiger vs Goseiger into Super Megaforce vs Megaforce by making the Goseiger/Megaforce people evil clones or robots to fight the real team, Gokaiger.
the answer is always due to our extremely strict copyright laws. most of sentai and kamen are under toei, so crossovers (and presumably better pay than their US counterparts) probably make crossovers a simple matter to get started

There was a chance for Power Rangers to do a team up with VR troopers and Power Rangers and Zeo. I am talking about the episode where Tommy got a Dear John letter from Kimberly in Zeo. They had all the elements. They had the actress who played Katilyn from Troopers. The Rangers fought two monsters, one of which looked like they could of been from Troopers. The actress who played Katilyn played a dfferent character in Zeo. What they could of done was since Katilyn was a reporter in Troopers, she could of been undercover doing a story at the Ski resort that Tommy, Billy, and Kat went to. One of the two monsters could of been one of Grimlord's monster sent in to help King Mondo. All they need was the actors who played Grimlord, Ryan, J.B., the person who voiced the dog and the Professor.

The hypnotizing of Gaoranger to fight Hurricanger wasn't copied by Ninja Storm vs. Wild Force. Instead, it was used in ThunderStorm. The DinoThunder/Ninja Storm crossover.
Victor Colon It’s never been stated explicitly the writers got the idea of the Evil Wind Rangers from that movie, but it’s possible they did.
Power Rangers Crossovers has made it very interesting 😁👍to see the characters from the previous ranger seasons return, like in Power Rangers: Zeo, Lost Galaxy, Lightspeed Rescue, Timeforce, Wild force, DinoThunder, SPD, Operation Overdrive, Samuria, Super Megaforce, Super Ninja Steel and the up coming Beast Morphers season 2. Still it's a real same they have done the same for Power Rangers: Ninja Storm, Mystic force, Jungle fury, RPM and Dino Charge because I'm sure that would make it more interesting too but unfortunely that never happen 😥because it's the writer's decision to whether they're planning to do any Power Rangers Crossovers or not.

Yeah, but it is owned by Bandai and i doubt they'd want to go through the risk of making a new show to promote the existing toys. Plus i think most are collectibles so, an official sub or dub seems more plausible and less expensive.

I agree, it would been neat to see another Kamen Rider adaptation. Though I’m kind of glad it didn’t happen since Saban couldn’t even manage their main product (Power Rangers). So how would they handle having two franchises instead of one?

The only cross over I was disappointed that they didn’t do the Super Sentai vs Kamen Rider because it just left the Gigant Horse. It would be an awesome to see it. Making it as a movie, but if they have mess up Gokaiger. Like how they mess up a lot of thing and use the past sentai that never been air in the western. Later been explain in the comic...

To be honest I think there’s a problem with anniversary seasons of power rangers, new viewers will be confused about the older seasons of power rangers. I’m not saying that anniversary seasons should never happen, but I’m saying that anniversary seasons can be both good and bad in my opinion. Heck when I watched Dino Thunder, I was confused about Tommy Oliver’s different ranger forms. Due to me not watching every single episode of power rangers in the entire franchise.

I am so disappointed we didn't get any of those ninja storm crossovers. Megaforce wasted an opportunity to reunite ninja storm and ninja steel wasted various cameos, I'm glad we got a dino thunder crossover with ninja storm though. It's by far my favourite power rangers crossover of all time!
