Yeah in Dressrosa is where the pacing of the anime drops a lot. Imagine us watching weekly episodes
The katakuri fight made me move on to manga. I stopped watching after start of wano and came back after egghead started , binged the whole wano, now stacking egghead
He’s gotta watch 7 episodes in one go to see any kind of progress
@@YMARihab Yeah Katakuri fight was a chore to watch. So long
@@Calthrasful I think someone compiled the fight scenes and its nearly 2 hours like holy shit what kind of fight stretch on for 2 hours???
Lilbro never watch Namek
one piece fans know this: there is no hurry. We shall get there some day patience is a virtue
Dressrosa had horrendous pacing in the anime cause Oda had health issues at the time and chapters were coming out more sporadically so they stretched each anime episode to the point that on average each ep is around half a chapter of the manga. There's also a heartwarming story about how his rival and friend Kishimoto showed up in the hospital to help Oda with his drafts, despite the fandoms having a strenuous relationship Oda and Kishimoto got along really well.
Lilbro never watch Namek
@@Barbaresantana I have, I am well aware that DBZ also had dogshit pacing
@@Drakno2 i talk about these new reactor not ya
It's a prerequisite for the melee fighters to know armament haki, if your melee weapon can get cut in half by the enemy competent, you're useless. It's understood that any of the ones that wear the jackets have some form of haki. Whether that's observation haki like usopp or armament like luffy and sanji and Zoro.
15:13 we know how sanji’s diable jambe ended against donflamingo
He'd at least buy some time for both of them to run away
God, I love One piece!
And I'm happy that I found One piece, and it is the first anime I watched.
I think the pace drops whenever the anime starts catching up with the manga and one piece is a weekly show not a seasonal thats why it has a slow pace to begin with. I think that will change after the remake drops
The title of the video really says it all, hahahha
It is entertaining watching you non stop talking
🤣
Fans have theorized that judging by the interaction between these two that it’s implied that Dolfy had Violet do sexual things for him as payment for sparing her family
Nah that is canon they had an adult relationship
It is not a theory, it is pretty much confirmed by Oda in a SBS. The question was asked because of that scene
Fans didn’t theorize, it’s canon.
She was a child not an adult. Calling it an adult relationship is wild.
@@TheMarch-jn3rz The "adult" is implying that thier relationship was sexual
Doflamingo is one of the best all time best villains of one piece.
Pacing post timeskip is a major issue. I personally like the old Nami design as well, but Oda is going to Oda his characters. He's writing a fantastic story and it seems to be on track to finish, unlike some other authors (looking at you, R.R. Martin). So I'll forgive redesigns on some characters.
Wano is a pretty good paced. Before that, it's just slow
I dropped the Anime after toughing out Dressrosa. I dropped it around the end of WCI arc. Been reading the Manga since the Anime was in Punk Hazard. The manga is 10x better than when the Anime is on a good day. I will say the latest arc in the Anime seems to have better pacing. But still not pre-timeskip era pacing.
overall the pacing slowed down in dressrosa but for the most part watching I didn't mind cause even if parts dragged on I still enjoyed those parts. this part however, waiting for lucy, aaaaahhhhhhh
There's no comfort, you just choose your burden
I choose to ignore the pacing problem One Piece has and keep on watching
I'd love to know what you think Joe, cuz there's gonna be more in the future episodes
that's a reminder if you want to keep watching One Piece, so make your choice :)
Naw, im gonna react to what I'm watching like I do with every video and if nothing is happening because the pace is ass, I will react to it. Just like when animation is ass or writing is ass or character design is ass or dialogue is ass or character development is ass in any series I react to, I mention it.
@@FreshestAnime Nice!
@@FreshestAnimeI appreciate how genuine you are. Seems a lot of people on RUclips lack that.
Oh please dont cry about that, we waited "weekly" for one ep and you can just watch it through like you want 🤷♂️ you should be thankful not to have to wait 😂
TOEI phasing 👌👌👌
Just read one piece manga untill wano best choice i made after punk hazard
Yeah this is the anime/manga’s biggest problem it draws things out too much
The Birdcage is truly one of the most bullshit moments of One Piece!
Filler Piece
Thats y watching one piece anime is not everyone's cup of tea
naruto and bleach had many fillers but one piece has long stretched out scenes that's way worse in my opinion XD
prepare for a LONG streak of terrible pacing.... it gets worse before it gets better
Disagree 😡😠
ehh, sometimes pacing issues are not noticeable even when the pacing isn't great, but other times its dreadfully noticeable. Regardless of the pacing im still gonna push through the x-amount of bad pacing episodes to get back to better pacing because I genuinely like One Piece
@@FreshestAnime true. it is worth it in the end
