If you remember, thats another reason why Falmuth decided to attack Tempest. If you look at the map, Falmuth is located northwest, beside Dwargon. Left of Falmuth is Blumund and the western capital Engrassia, with Thalion sitting below it. Before Rimuru, nobody dares to go across the Jura Forest due to Veldora influence. So normal trade route has to go through Falmuth and Dwargon should a merchant wanted to traverse between western and eastern nations. Its the only way. Below the map South is Demon lords area (which are now mostly Milim's) so going thru them to bypass the forest is out of question for normal humans.
A story where elves dont like trees and nature??? Remember an anime names "so I'm spider, so what?" There u get elf who want to become a god and destroy they're homeland😂 Also, demon bad and angels good? Not in tensura😂
Ramiris is an absolute god inside her labyrinth. No spoilers, but we'll hear more of what she can do next episode and throughout the season, but it just gets ridiculous
@@galonski64 Facts. It's a little bit spoilery, but I'm going to forgive myself because I didn't specify what "an absolute God inside her Labyrinth" entails
to answer your question about trees = elves thing, the anime 'farming life in another world' the elves there aren't really 'nature loving', sure they live in forests/up mountains, but they are basically humans with pointy ears and longer lifespans for all intents and purposes in that show, they do not conform to elven stereotypes, just as one example to satisfy the whole 'show me one instance where elves don't like nature' question.
you know, I was thinking Farming Life in Another World, though they also had to learn new skills to survive, they and the dwarf never acted like typical one do in other fantasy, which is a nice change, on top of how fun that anime is.
also, the "no real life connection", Elves are actually quite similar to the people of Holland way back during the Romans, Holland as a word means "the land of many trees" and iirc they protected the trees because they believed in trees came from fairies who descended from the sky and moss spirits etc. and also because they believed the trees protected them from flooding. They'd pray under a tree for beautiful children, if you were sick they'd put you below a Oak tree which they thought would heal you. There were also tales of how they lived in trees for thousands of years before becoming agricultural etc.etc. I don't think they'd be offended by Joe but still Elves are based on reality ;p
3:55 may be different from what you seek. Nonbiri Nouka, the elves there is not a fan of nature, not hate it tho. instead, they like crafting. they copped trees, used fire, and can make metal wok🤯 (blacksmith things). of course, there is a backstory behind it tho.

Skipped content from the light novel: - Having received the official reports about Lubelius and Tempest, Dwarven Kingdom's senate called forth an emergency meeting in the middle of the night. - The official statements from both Tempest and Lubelius states that Rimuru and the saint Hinata dueled to a draw, resulting in mutual respect and a non-agression pact. - Lubelius and the Holy Church's sudden change in doctrine made them doubt the validity of these statements, leading them to conclude that Rimuru has, in fact, defeated Hinata. - It is said that Gazel is as strong as Hinata. And since Rimuru has defeated Hinata, it means that Rimuru has already surpassed Gazel Dwargo. This statement is very disrespectful to say in front of others, especially considering how much Dwargon respects their king. - The invitation letter is received by Gazel Dwargo, who made an excuse that he's coming as an individual, rather than as king, leading the senate to compete for who was the most loyal, in hopes that the king will bring them along - The Divine Tree in the Sorcerous Dynasty of Thalion is the location of their capital. It is as big as a mountain and can house multiple cities. It is also equally as important as the Labyrinth of Ramiris. - The invitation letter was meant for Erald Grimwald, not for the Empress. - The movement of the Empress outside of her palace warrants a national emergency and the deployment of the Magus, the secret Royal Guards of Thalion, each of which is at least Special A in rank. Furthermore, Eryune has recently brought a confectionery from his shop. - There really is no reason for Elmesia to attend the Tempest Festival, so Erald is working on trying to convince her to just send a representative. But he needed to be careful, as the Empress is cunning and can use his words for the opposite outcome. - Elmesia shuts him up before he can speak his mind, mentioning Eryune's name for good measure. The road and tariff are just her excuse to make it seem serious. - Elmesia finally decides that she'll personally attend, much to Erald's dismay. -Ramiris mentioned that anyone who dies inside the labyrinth can be revived just outside the door as long as she knew their location.
I won’t be surprised if they had teleportation portals for every nation for fast Traveling and the high ranking people see rimuru as a Threat but the Real Threat is his Butler Diablo 😂😂😂
@@CrossedflameI think that’s mostly because they lost their homes and spent god knows how long in unfamiliar wilderness. They had no permanent home to really settle down in, so they had to learn everything about survival.
These are meetings done right, just don't stick us around a table with static shots for 30-90 minutes. That's when you've done it wrong and people check out.
People often don't realize this because the anime cut a lot of details, but Yoshida is incredibly influential. Eurazania went to great lengths to provide Yoshida with everything he needed for his cooking. However, once Rimuru met him and started supplying ingredients from our world, which only Rimuru and Tempest could produce, Yoshida decided to move to Tempest after Shuna requested his help. No other nation managed to persuade Yoshida, but Rimuru did. I'd say Yoshida is as influential as Rimuru at the moment, though Rimuru is definitely going to become even more influential over time.
Unlike Demons, who wants to fight, and unlike humans, who... are humans..., or even unlike Dragon's Ramiris is a fairy, she wants the wellbeing of everyone, makes sense why she doesn't use her power unless necessary, imo. And don't even talk about angels, ee

ALso regarding the map while the nation itself does not extend there ... the Ligh Green next to Dwargon is in Rimurus hands as its the new nation of Farimus .... previously called Falmus ... the reason the red is so big is because ... it compromizes Freys Kingdom, Carlinos Kingdom ..... This is extremely important stuff for the future of Tempest. People that don't want slow episodes, don't understand what makes a good show.
It’s also one of the reasons why it’s one of the most sold novels
Aside from that one episode where Hinata and Luminus keep repeating themselves, I have been enjoying the world building.
There is a reason why they changed the way they show meetings now. Don't try to defend the the first 5 episodes still.
Rimuru is slowly but surely take over the world with the greateast power in the world. Money hahahaha😂
Fr😂.
3:38 Dont underestimate The Tree😂😂. Its been stated as a "Divine" thing in S2...
without it the world would just be destroyed by a random spirits power
Ramiris does give off Konosuba's Aqua aura. Also sleeping cat was adorable

Empress Elmisia is not only awesome and interesting but ancient, powerful, very intelligent and scares most people.
Isn't she a trap ? , she is called the emperor.
And an absolute drunkard
I like her. She keeps reminding me of an adult Rimuru though ^_^;;;
For those people saying they dont like the meetings just, skip to the eastern empire fight lets see how many question the "why's"

she doesn't care about nature? What's her favorite spell? 🧐🧐 checkmate.
