Hi Mani, the only place I know is e-bay, problem is you have to be patient to find the right deal, and when buying on e-bay you need to be careful what you are buying and from who. If you get any chance to get to the US then buying a camera (or any tech for that matter) over there (even new) can save you a lot of money, even more so if you can get to Japan - technically you are required to pay VAT and Import Duty on return to the UK though. Yes you definitely always need to set white balance and set the aperture before shooting. The problem is, the sensors have such limited dynamic range that most situations are a compromise. Most cameras work well with default settings outside when its bright and sunny and you have blue skye and greenery - thats when almost all cameras give great results with little effort. Different story when you are inside....or its dark or grey outside.
If you full screen the video and cross your eyes till the images overlap (you have to tilt your head slightly to get the images to line up) - 3D! peace chris

I cant' quite get it to work for me but I like the idea, hmmm...perhaps some 3D fun might be in order....thanks for the comment/observation. Gerry
