I have not tried thst but later I checked again the spark plugs were soaked with oil sans as coils. Valve cover gasket will not solve this problem unfortunately
I fear rtv will make the spark plugs stuck permanently inside and a nightmare to remove or destruct to remove them. Then if not careful any residue can fall inside the combustion chamber once I remove the spark plugs for replacement....it's a dilemma
What year is your S5? I have a 2011 and I heard from 2010-13 basically all the same when doing repairs and parts is this true?
What size is the spark plug socket??
Do more videos thank you
Haha it's time consuming and lot of planning and work. I have other things to do in priority. I had a bunch of video ideas but no time to execute.
You didn’t mention how you removed the corner top left screw on passenger side😅
How many screws are there for the valve cover? I got charged for 28 screws
Mine had a total of 31 screws. 16 on one side and 15 on the other.
Thanks. I also got charged for 10
Hours of labor! How long did it take you?
Thanks
Why no RTV??

These are dry gaskets do not call for RTV but a clean mating surface and proper torque and tightening sequence or it'll leak.
