@@Blazo_Djurovic the British ambitions on the continent ended with the hundred years war, after witch they lost all mainland Europe territory and instead started trying to colonise the Americas ane getting colony's, the main thing keeping the Germans in check was the ottomans and the French who fought wars with the hre untill the hre collapsed after witch prussia would dominate it's neighbours and form the German Reich and was then again checked during the first world war, but here in their game the Prussians decided to not partner with the Austrian-hungarians like they did in real life, but to annex them instead.

@@neilangelomolleda7283 after german unfication any german minor gets an event to join Germany and they accept, in this case Austria was a german minor and they got the event after being released.

Well the more Europe fights the more immigration he gets, it's a total win-win.
College RPing abilities is unmatched. Last session he kept switching governments as France, and finally, went a step further. I better see College and Braun tapping in and out as the players for France.
Funny enough, this isn't the first time someone switched players as France
Once (I think Jake) played France and eventually College took over.

something that I dislike about this is that while I agree that College and Golden were getting a little greedy, Bo and Thomas, two GPs that had NOTHING to do with the war decided 'hey, Spain and France are getting too powerful for taking colonies off of a country that invaded and wanted to game-ruin France (College) ' EVEN though Bo has one of the strongest navies and Thomas has a good economy already. In my opinion, I think both Bo and Thomas are in the wrong.
Yeah, this is one of the few cases where I didn't enjoy one of the vids very much, both Bo and Thomas had a low key toxic attitude in this one

Dependes on what you count as winning. By land count, yes. But his Military and Prestige scores have severely tanked, as well has his industry not being nearly high enough for someone of his size. He's 6th rank GP, when a Grossdetuchland should probably be number 1.He's that low because the land he has is basically scorched earth after all the wars .
Getting all of Austria Hungary is always big for anyone playing Germany due to the many pops, resources, and industry. I honestly don't know how he was able to completely conquer them in one war, but I assume it has something to do with the mod since you can only full annex countries that are either uncivilized or have only one state.
Losing the great war is BAD.
it means paying a huge chunk of your money to the winners for 5-10 years, losing half your army, losing half of the remaining half (because dismantled) and not being able to raise more armies. Additionally, any colonies he had are gone.
So, yeah, he basically became Nazi Germany: a very powerful nation that's only method of influence is the continent.
And millions of his people will revolt for years. So, demographic catastrophe is also a pretty bad part of it.
I really like swimmy because he always feels like an old man who rants off at the back of the bar, punches and insults someone, the wonders why because angry at them.

These are some of my favourite sessions to watch. I know HOI4 is Bo's bread and butter but seeing the crazy diplo game between these people is very entertaining.

I usually rewatch tons of times many of your vids because of some moments o phrases in them are great, but this episode is so painful to watch, the way that bo and Thomas attack college and the rest is just depressing for me, might be because of some sort of similar experience playing mp paradox games or something I don't know

How does one lose a war and still gain land from said war
They made a mistake in choosing to "re-form" the Austrian Empire. However, Swimmy already activate the event decision in which Germany get cores for all the Austrian Empire provinces.
As such, the game only give the Austrian Empire enough land to re-form, since it considers all the other remaning lands to be core German lands and leave it to Germany (i.e. Swimmy).
In hindsight, it would been better for them to take Austrian lands than freed it as a vassal.
The vic 2 games will always be the best, so much more character
