Hmmmm....i included one of the person in this world that doesn't like beach or sea, bcoz no one live in the real sea, usually its on an island in the middle of the sea, or a temporary place for duty or recreation like fisherman, warship, or Cruise ship, or an oil rag. Human real place for living is on the land, so maybe that's why i prefer mountain than beach, an old town in the valley than seashore

been to Grindelwald once, my parents only said, “we’re going to Switzerland”, when we arrived, i was just amazed. The reason we were here was because my grandma’s parents who sadly past away, went here 2 times a year.

Switzerland is one of my favorite countries in Europe. The cities and towns that I have been to in Switzerland are Zürich, Lucerne and Brunnen. I love the architecture, beautified mountains, nature, culture and the landscape as a whole. I find it very relaxing
You haven't travelled much in Europe then...I'm Swiss and don't think that Switzerland is the big goat out there. It's a matter of perspective or taste...

When my family and I toured Switzerland we used Grindelwald as one of our three main hub locations to stay several days and purchased a Europass Train pass so we could hop on the train each day to tour all the nearby attractions and not constantly be moving from hotel to hotel. We stayed at a hotel right in front of the end of the train line in Grindelwald and this turned out to be a brilliant idea and wow they had a huge awesome breakfast spread each morning. The short train rides were every bit as much a part of the magical experience as the destinations and the Hotel staff made us feel so welcome and appreciated we always looked forward to returning at the end of each day.
Its hard to understand until you have been there but But Switzerland is both tiny for a country but big enough that you would not want to stay at just one place to see it all. Grindlewald is right at the base of the Jungfrau, the highest peak in Europe and an excellent place to use as a base to see the Lauterbrunen Valley, Interlaken and Lucern. With the railpass you can ride the trains, gondolas and fineculars all included. I believe the only two we had to pay for was the Jungfrau train to the peak and the Pilatus gondolas to go up that peak. One really special day we took the gondolas up and over the Manlicken ski area then down into the Lauterbrunan valley on the other side of the hill where were we took the Finicular up the other side to waiting trains, gondolas and lifts that take you to the top of the Schtilthorn, which was the mountain top lair seen in the first James Bond movie. On top of that you can see Mont Blanc in France and peaks in Italy and other places.
I don't mean to give a travel guide about the area but I want to share the fact that the aforementioned sights are all super conveniently located from Grindlewald. I imagine having stayed in Lauterbrunen I might have had a spectacular time as well and it is in my opinion the most beautiful place on earth but staying over several days and also visiting many other attractions, the fact that the train was literally in front of the hotel in Grindlewald makes me think it was the best possible choice.

In my opinion. Switzerland is one of the most beautiful countries in the world.
We stayed in the Berghaus Bort in the summertime with views of The Eiger. It was the most stunning breathtaking view and to be there and just breathe the air, sipping wine on the veranda of this little hotel was one of the highlights of my life. Truly
