- Hey comic fans! Come along as I go on a Comic Book Crawl with the guys from @3meninabasement ! I had such an awesome time supporting our local comic shops and getting incredible deals that one single video simply couldn’t contain it all, so I’m splitting this great day into TWO videos!

With the action figures. I kept those for so many years in the original packaging. But over the many years the cost of them never really moved. So one day I opened up a few of my doubles, which I just kept in a box. And started a shelf for the figures. After seeing how much better the figures looked out of the box, I opened more. And I'm so glad I did, I really do enjoy them out of the box more. I've had people say, well keep opening yours, it will just make mine more appealing. Well that was 15 years ago, and the prices in the box still hasn't changed. So many were produced.
I just started part 1; I'm 52 seconds in, but hurry up with part 2! lol Awesome channel.

I have been looking for Delphine #4 since my comic shop never got it for me when it came out! Great series, Richard Sala was the best.

My LCS just got in some fresh Claremont Xmen. I picked up 158-168. I filled in some gaps in my run. Lot of keys in those few issues.

I knew you picked up some amazing books. I was late getting to the first spot and missed out on so many books. I definitely will be back, that place was awesome. I need to get better at location intros and interviews. I hear myself talk and it's a little cringe. Lmao. I think I have an idea of what you got in part 2. Lol. I'll stay quiet. 🤫

I am buying and bidding like crazy some of my comics I am definitely reading again for instance first appearance of dead pool new mutants just received my Daredevil 161 and still bidding for two comics which I won,t mention till I purchase bidding is exciting thanks Mike.

Mike I know it's comic talk But your guys wrong. Brady started 2 years at Mich. My son's about to graduate from Mich and I'm a Life long Maze and Blue fan. Brady was a red shirt freshman in 97 when we won the national championship. He was fighting for starting QB against a guy that was a 5 star recruit named Drew Henson who got drafted by the Yankees and the Cowboys. Tom beat him out in 98 and started the 99 year. I think people forget Tom was a 6th Rd pick in the NFL 😂. But we Loved his heart then and obviously still love him and he loves Mich. Sorry to get all sports nerd on a comic channel👍😂

I really like your videos. Have been watching for about a year. I started doing videos and will be going to a collectibles show soon. How do you go about filming at shows? I'm trying not to upset anyone.
Most people don’t mind if you’re discreet but if you are ever filming someone talking or showing their face or closeup videos of their books, you should always ask

Awesome haul! There was a great vibe in the in-store clips with both the interaction between everyone. Looks like it was a fun time for everyone. Delphine looks like the best find, in my opinion. Love the oversized format of the comics! Clearly the books have meaning to you, which will make it a valued part of your PC. 😀

Now you just need the Xmen Danger Room playset for all your action figures.
Have to say the biggest thing I noticed was there was LOTS of gray hair everywhere (or better known as middle aged men) in this video.
Detective comics… no probably the spider woman one.

Going into ones LCS is so much better than any other type of comic book shopping. Developing that relationship with the people who run the shops, and the stories that are told is truly what this community is about. Yes, I do enjoy watching the RUclips videos about comic books and I will go to a convention here and there, but let’s be real, without the LCS there would be no community

A Bruins jersey, really? And in the thumbnail too? At least your friend in the Canadiens hoodie had the good sense to set you straight...go Habs! :) Those are some great pick ups! I was talking to a friend the other day, and we both agreed that the Coming of Galactus, This Man This Monster, and the 1st Black Panther is the best 5 consecutive issues of any series ever made. In a 5 issue span, we saw 3 of the biggest characters in comics introduced, and the 'filler' issue in between those 1st appearances is probably the single best issue in the entire Fantastic Four run.
Absolutely true regarding that run, it’s incredible. Also in my opinion the FF storied before these were largely hokey and a but childish, but then it hits the sweet spot right here. So for your great comic wisdom I will forgive the Habs reference lol

I mean I read most of them, and original art is amazing but SUPER expensive
