The dudes that say things like "male friends are just friendzoned guys waiting for the opportunity to strike" are just telling on themselves that they don't find value in getting to know women and only have girl "friends" as conquests

@@doid4354 as a woman in her 40s...who doesn't play stupid games anymore....I wouldn't hide it. If they are like any other friend to ne, then that's what they are, gender means nothing. If he has a problem with that then he isn't the right one for me. Because I can be trusted, and that's what needs to matter. But I would rather be alone than with someone that I have to fear their reaction to something, that's not a healthy situation to be in.

To anyone who needs to hear this: If your partner is going to cheat, they will cheat. No amount controlling is going to change that. It just makes both of you miserable. If you feel the need to guard your partner, you are better just splitting and looking for something more stable.

    • @AliceBunny05
      @AliceBunny05 11 месяцев назад +142

I think more people need to hear this, because this is exactly the way I operate. If my partner is going to cheat, that is an active decision. No amount of me meddling will keep them from making the active decision to be unfaithful, it's 100% on them. Literally nothing you do will impact that in either direction, doesn't matter how good you are to them, dosen't matter how on top of them you are, if they want to do it they will find a way.

That's not powerful. She doesn't understand what an analogy is.
The lock is an analogy *to* a woman. A woman can't be an analogy to a woman. No one at any time tried to make it other way around and say that a bad lock is like a woman that had many partners (so a woman being an analogy to a lock).
What she said had absolutely no sense.
But even if the point was "if you make analogies to women, you can't talk to any women" is a bad point. Anything can have an analogy to it. The Fox in Little Prince was an analogy to a friend. Are she and you saying that the author can't have any friends just because he made an analogy to them?
Or is it just women who are so priviledged?

its interesting that when the lady told him she was a lesbian he asked her “what made you realize you dont like men” specifically. not “what made you realize you like women” like how are you gonna make being a lesbian about men as well
edit: replies really dont get it huh
edit 2: thanks for the likes
    anyway,
he inserted men into a matter that does not concern men.
this is like if someone said "i like the colour orange"
and you asked "oh what made you realize you dont like blue?"
blue had nothing to do with this and its weird that you brought it up.
it would be easier AND it would make more sense to ask "oh what made you realize you like orange?" hope this helps someone.

The clothes we wear aren't for comfort or self expression it's for men.
We don't have education or careers to improve our lives, it's to spite men.

For example, a trans person like Blair White hating trans women who don’t follow the exact transition journey she did? That’s internalized transphobia. A gay guy like George Santos hating on trans women? That’s just regular transphobia.
But squidgirl made a great point too; someone who “dislikes LGBTQIA+” because some queer people are awful to other queer people isn’t a phobia or prejudice at all, it’s just some queer people being tired of oppression from our own people.
Plenty of gay people hate trans people, plenty of queer men hate queer women, plenty of queer people are racists or ableists or some other kind of awful person. I hate when people use their "boundaries" to justify controlling other people's behavior. If you're really so insecure about it and it is genuinely a deal breaker for you, you don't accommodate that by telling the other person that they can't do something. You say "Hey, I don't think this is going to work out. I wish you the best." And you leave. You don't use it as an ultimatum either, you just leave. If you are truly so insecure that your girlfriend can't have male friends, then you might just have to accept that you'll be alone until you can work through that insecurity. It is not _her_ responsibility to change because _you_ have a problem.

@@yeahokaycoolcoolthat's pretty wild given how you literally just misinterpreted the meaning of the word "boundary" in the worst possible way lmao
Like "ah yes boundaries, the things you make that only ever affect you, which is why the prime example people use for setting a boundary is asking people not to touch you without permission.
Which definitely does not at all affect the actions of other people.
Yknow, the people who would otherwise be touching you. If not for the, yknow.
      Boundary.
      That you set.
The one that directly affects their actions towards you.
      That boundary."

I will say it again: The Lock Analogy doesn’t work, because the lock only has one function in life, and that is to keep everything out. A woman has many varied and individualized purposes in life other than sex and stopping men from having it with her. Just like the Flower Analogy doesn’t work: You don’t remove her purpose by sleeping with her. A flower’s petals have one purpose: To attract and be pretty. She doesn’t lose her beauty just because she had sex with you. It all comes down to one thing: You think a woman is worse off because she had sex with you. That says infinitely more about you.

    • @leilanidru7506

Same with the chewed gum analogy. After a gum is open and done being chewed it literally is functionless. It has fufilled its one purpose. Someone else used a tea bag analogy. After a tea bag has been steeped in tea, it is literally finished. You can’t use it again. Sexual behavior is not a one time or finite resource. And even if it was it should be applied to both genders. And it’s just not. We overwhelmingly dictate and attempt to control female sexuality.

And once, I saw a woman explaining how she ended her friendship with her best friend when he found a girlfriend, so he would only have one woman in his life, and women were praising her for it.
