This is very true. In my opinion, as long as zionism exists, as long as superiority exists, there will be no peace. Everyone in my book, is equal. Any religious people I know, are not very peaceful at all. Its sad really, they're not happy with THEMSELVES..... I live and let live and am very peaceful and very content in my universe. I avoid bullies and negative energies...

    Yes.
Everything in Judaism is oriented around living as a free nation in the promised land, to the point where keeping the commandments outside of Israel might not be obligatory but merely staying in practice for when you keep them for real in Israel.
    That's according to scripture.

That’s like saying Does Islam need Saudi Arabia?

Exactly the point. A culture -not just a religion-, that dares pondering and questioning and voicing the idea of uprooting the people as a way to preserve their culture, it reflects on many shades of said culture. In the case of Islam it is problematic due to the sensible subjects presented along any questioning of Islam. Given a lot of moder Islam is a version of ancient Jewish religious traditions and the struggles tagging along; it could be argued Ummah is a sort of "People" or "Nation" yet in the actual experience is just as saying the Christian People using some euphemism such as the Lambs of The Lord. A Christian from Uganda has nothing to do with the Mary Mother of God in a lake in Costa Rica, other than maybe both being Catholic, otherwise there have been violence and blood due to that disagreement. Same goes for Shia and Sunni. Yet, as you put it, Mecca or access to the Christian Holly Places would be cause for conflicts, the violent kind. Yet, a Shia Muslim could live a wholesome spiritual and religious life without a hajj as so have done Christians. Could French culture survive without a territorial France? Or the Chinese peoples without mainland China?

Zionism is not a modern movement and it’s not secular. It may not have been referred to as such, but the desire to return to our ancestral homeland is a concept that always existed and was foundational within Judaism.

Israel-palestinian conflict is not complicated only if we are to be just from religious view, geopolitical or historical views.
If we are to go by religious view, the original native were the Canaanites whose descendants are Palestinians today. But at that time they were unbelievers.
It was after Moses rescued Israelites from pharaoh that God gave them holy Land ON TWO CONDITIONS which means the land did not belong to them to begin with.
When Moses ordered Israelites to enter the holy Land, they refused and said "there are people living there". Their response here shows people were there before Israelites known today as Jews.
So they violated God's conditions to retain the rights to the land that's why God kicked them out till today.
The original owners who were unbelievers before then have became believers. Their descendants are Palestinians today.
So God kicked out Israelites, they lived amongst their Arab brothers in peace for centuries without issues. That's why we have various Arab Jews.
However, when British brought Balfour Decoration, that was the beginning of today's problems. The people who occupy historic Palestine today are from Europe. They are essentially Europeans who converted to Judaism and laid claim on the land in order to create homes for the Jews.
The reality is, they aren't historic Jews but Europeans. You can see majority of them have dual passports. Neyanyahu from Poland. His ambassador to UK is from Georgia and many like that.
In my opinion, the simple solution is 2 state solution which Israel is not willing. If that's not possible, then it is 1 democratic state solution with equality and dismantle Zionism.

My genetic test proves that my ancestors came from Israel, which is true for most Jews. And the majority of Jews are Sephardi and none of their ancestors ever set foot in Europe. Netanyahu was born in Israel. The two-state solution is racist and mirrors the Nuremberg laws of Nazi Germany. The two-state solution would ethnically cleanse Judea and Samaria of Jews and prohibit them from entering Jerusalem. Keep in mind that this is already true of the Palestinian Authority and Gaza where Jews may not set foot. After 1948, the Arab countries all expelled their Jews, divesting them of their property. There were far more Jewish refugees from Arab countries than there were Palestinian refugees. Israel welcomed the Jewish refugees but UNRWA gave the Palestinians a non-ending generational refugee status, something that ONLY applies to Palestinian refugees. As a Jew, there are precious few places I can live in the world and the two-state solution would make that situation even worse. Why do you think the two-state solution is not a Nazi agenda? It is explicitly racist.

@@Wrestlingtheangel sorry buddy. Bibi is Eastern European and so many like that. They are Ashkenazi Jews not serpadi. Even Sephardic Jews are mostly from Spain and Portugal known those days as Iberian peninsula. And if you read what I posted earlier, I said religiously, the holy doesn't belong to the Jews either. According to Quran and Bible, people were living on the land before Israelites. God only gave the Jews the land on conditions which they violated and still violate today. Go back to Europe. You don't belong to the middle East.
      Europe is for white people
      Africa is for black people
Asia is for yellow and brown people
Middle East is for Arab people
      Very straightforward. Don't complicate things

Judaism is religious, Zionism is political.
I personally don't understand what Judaism is, I don't understand the god who seems rather evil to me and only concerned with war, plunder and confusion.
    I am obviously missing something.
    Hopefully someone can explain.
Also I don't understand why a religion would have a country, no other religious denomination has one.
Finally, anti semitism doesn't make sense when applied to Jews as they are of all races.
Just my observations, no offence meant.
    Just trying to learn.

Judaism refers to the tribe and region of Judea. Plenty of countries have a state religion. Judaism is passed on from the parents and has nothing to do with belief. That is not true of any religion. Christianity, for example, appears around the globe but you can only be a Christian if you believe in Jesus. A jew is a jew no matter what he believes. Also, for 2,000 years the central aspect of Judaism has been the national aspiration to return to our homeland.

Your confusion is due to aspects of our nation that have to do with serving God.
