Talyllyn, Ffestiniog and Snowdon Mountain Railways in North Wales in October 1992

We join 0-4-0 saddle tank locomotive No. 1 "Talyllyn" at Tywyn station on the Tallyllyn Railway for a ride to Nant Gwernol and back in October 1992. We then travel along the Cambrian Coast line on Centro unit No. 150 117 to Pwllheli and the following day from Llandudno Junction to Blaenau Ffestiniog on a Class 153 unit. Here we join newly-built 0-4-4-0 Double Fairlie locomotive "David Lloyd George" - yet to have its nameplates fitted - for a single journey to Minffordd. Our onward travel from Minffordd is aboard Centro unit No. 150 113. The following day we join the Snowdon Mountain Railway at Llanberis for a diesel-powered return ride to Summit station.
