If you are trying to get max rewards on gunsmoke frontlines you would want two teams The bosses also take extra damage from a specific damage type usually so having diff teams is nice Its just endgame minmaxing really, what else you gonna do with your spare stamina once you completed a team haha, perfectly fine to roll with whatever you got, its just stuff to spend time on in the game
There was an event that just ended in global that you needed 2 teams for. It had multiple part missions where every time you deployed a character, they lost 1 stamina and only had 2 total, so you could not use the same characters the whole time.

At which point do we need multiple elemental teams? Seems like any team with Suomi QJ gets things done today
