To me this video shows Tremonti's growth as a musician both vocally and guitar wise. I remember listening to Full Circle AB3 and these performances and hearing his vocal parts before "All I Was" came out and trying to imagine how him singing full Lead Vocals would sound like, and it blew me away like I thought it would. And obviously it's not hard for him to play these classic songs, compared to the kind of stuff he writes now, but he just oozes flow and confidence here. A master in his element. It's inspiring for any musician to watch someone completely in the zone...\m/
This is why Glenn Tipton and Mark Tremonti are my favorite guitarists. They evolved SO much over time. Compare where they started to where they are a decade or two (or three) later. Almost different guitarists altogether.
I'm a Creed late-bloomer, per se. I've always been a fan of Tremonti's signature sound and style, but never a fan of the post-grunge genre (grunge will never die!). I love this song. I just wish the bassist's E string was in tune for this performance.
I definitely hear pitch correction on Tremonti. I don't know why he'd need it for such a simple line, It's only like 6 or 7 different notes. He usually sings it just fine live.

I am a huge fan of Mark Tremonti. You totally misunderstood my comment. I am a musician who, by the way, cannot sing well at all. I also ran the PA for my and other bands. Effects are a good thing, digital delay and reverb, etc. Many entertainers today do use effects to correct pitch in their voice, auto tune. From what I can tell, and I have seen Creed, Alterbridge and Tremonti all live, Mark is not one who does.

Well, with Glenn, compare 1980 to 1988/1990, and with Tremonti all you have to do is compare 1999/2001 to 2004. So much different.
Tremonti's voice is actually auto-tuned to shit on this recording. It's VERY noticeable.

that isn't pitch correction it's like a really fast paced chorus effect.
