I raised/ am raising 5 kids. That was a wonderful book that I would have really, really appreciated having about 20-30 years ago. It's fascinating to me how you have turned that simple children's story into something that is helping me process my multiple neuroses. Good call and thanks. I'm confused, too. Is Jim Panzee a chimpanzee? Because chimpanzees aren't monkeys, they're apes. It's just as good either way, really. Oooh, I know, I bet he's grumpy because everyone keeps thinking he's a monkey, but he's really an ape, and it's bugging him. Everyone keeps going "hey there Jim the monkey, how's it going?" and he's a'll "Hey, I'm not a monkey, I'm an ape"
Love that book. Hate the continuity error in the last 2 images. The monkey and gorilla switch sides of the tree and switch spots. Just irks me every time. 🤣
