The cinematic shots in the beginning were so dope. So clean
You can tell how great of a camera is when it handles filming led lights
Those shots are dreamy and creamy. Someone say BOKEH?
Got his front LSD in my RS7. That was a beast of a job.
Jay lays it down. Thats also a great video comparison between the mounts/bushings. That stock setup is all over the place.
Ayyyy I know Jay personally! I've seen a majority of the transformation of his S4 from stock to the monster it is today!
Basically this car is get rid of the oil screens on the turbos. And upgrade the rear axles if you plan on tuning and dig racing. The only other issue I have is the air ride that breaks its not gonna be cheap to fix. Only thing I can say is if you dig race try lifting the rear a bit more than the front to help with the weight transfer.
One of my fav RUclipsrs. The past week I went back and watched literally all of your videos. I have a 2015 s3, hoping to have an s6 one day!!
So glad to see some performance parts going on the s6. Gives me the same excitement as putting new parts on my car.
Hey, I’ve been subbed since your Golf videos and can tell how you’ve really improved and it’s been awesome seeing that! I have a quick question about the b8 S4, I know I’m a little late, but I wanted to know if you have heard of the exhaust setup of @RodizzleS4, it’s basically TP > MF x pipe in place of baby resonators > AWE touring. There is barely any drone at all. I was curious if you have seen this setup and your thoughts on it if it’s still too loud for daily use or why you didn’t go with something more along those lines when you had the SQ5 or S4?
4.0t S4!!!!🤯 NEED MORE INFORMATION ON THAT !
Follow @autoxaudi on IG :)
The person who gave a thumbs down needs a kick to the nuts. Beautiful car, and sweet camera!
LOL
great to hear a good shoutout for jxb
Would it be worth the cost and effort to replace this on an A6 as well?
Repairing this now on my s5, the motor mounts were bad and caused it to break.
these shots are icy 🥶 💎 beautiful stuff, eli :)
thanks brother!!
What are your plans with the RS5 Rotors? Are you selling them?
Did you go with the hard bushing or the softer one for street.
Softer one!
did you get the street or track version? would love to hear your update on this after you get the summers on.
Street! Will update!!
@@IgnitionTube Did you get the slight vibration figured out? You sold me on this since I’ve added power but the marketing line on the JXB website that you won’t notice anything “if you have aftermarket exhaust or your windows down” got me worried about the additional NVH. Was it your rear wheels or did you just learn to live with the additional NVH?
why does Jay's car sound like a 350z at the end?
Can i get the name and location of your shop? I'm located in MA. Thanks
How many miles do you have on the S6? TIA
Nice car mann! Love it 😍
I'm prety sure that my intermitent vibration is from this carrier, i should try the JXB
@@hikeskool It's completely intermitent, i can have it at 30mph and the other day at 60mph, then no vibration for 2 weeks and then at another time or another mph.
Is it necessary to shave that lip down for the new carrier to fit properly?
Yes! See the JXB install video for more info!
Who did this work? I’m in Randolph. Everyone saying it’s a 4 hours job that never did this.
Always wondered why these S6's don't come with fog lights, seems like a necessity for a car of this caliber!
they do, they're in the lower part of the headlights. The "fog lights" are the adaptive cruise control sensors!
You don't need them with the factory LED headlights
Interesting, I just installed the same carrier and also got vibrations at 60mph, did you figure it out ?
I did not unfortunately, but it has lessened over time
Seems like everyone that installs it gets vibrations at 60mph, with no way to go back to the stock setup. Have you figured out the solution for it?
There was a post on audizine from the makers of the part and they slightly revised the part by putting a small indent on it because the driveshaft is different from the c7 models. You can send it in for a free swap if I’m not mistaken.
Vibration could be a bent rim?
Thx for jxb Info as I'm getting deeper into building the s5 and your my motivation to build my s5, been a long time subscriber since your s4 days

JHM has their own version out now :)
That's a nice fancy camera you got there
not hidden but its good enough for the power the s6 has and the roads it was made for and its purpose , 250+kph in autobahn carrying shit from ikea home
@@hikeskool dont know if the c7 has cyl deactivation but yeah its a good cruiser in europe we get the 3.0 bitdi and i have a friend that has one with 460hp and 900nm which is a passing monster but diesel means smoke so not for me
@@hikeskool fuel price in usa is low tho . I dont know if the cyl deact is of any point in a large v8 or furl economy tho ;) id enjoy the buttery smooth v8 ;) have a great day ;) . (Europe is 6,2$ per gallon of 99 ron fuel )
@@hikeskool displacement is hard in europe since we pay by displacement in yearly tax . For example in my country the yearly tax for a s6 would be 1600$ that is why they keep most cars under 3000cc and why larger engined cars sell better in usa . They were saying that they plan on making engines bigger to improove thermal eficiency and make them more fuel frugal with less turbos , we can only hope . Id enjoy a NA car with a electric crutch for the nanny state
Is it S6 specific or across the C7 platform?
He has options for virtually all Audi’s at this point!
Driveshaft carrier issues is mostly specific to the C7 though. Most fail around 650-700whp.
Camera setup is a lot clearer
Who cares, where is s6 races?😁
we'll do my first launch this weekend :)
