Well, I kind of "produce" the ideas that Udio gives me. By "produce" I mean carefully selecting ideas that would make a song I love as a fan of the genre. For a song to start sounding like this it sometimes takes ten or even more hours of generating separate pieces (Udio only generates chunks of 30 seconds). When I have enough good pieces, I often put them together in an external DAW (I use Cubase) because it gives me much more control. As for the lyrics - in most cases the auto-generated "metal" lyrics in "Udio" and "Suno" only revolve around two or three topics and use a very limited vocabulary so most lyrics sound the same. So they take some work too, if you want something decent. But as a whole, 10 hours is nothing if you compare that to the time and money you need to write, arrange, produce, record, mix and master a song with a real band, especially if you need other musicians to play or sing on it.
