Has the feel of a an overnighter or coastal boat for occasional use, rather than the usual Nordy long range. Not sure I like it, but others will jump on it
You might know I'm a Nordhavn fan.. So not being hard on you guys AT ALL.. But maybe next time, dump the music or go down the "drone" style background sounds. I appreciate the audio-ducking.. just not my style (I make a lot of videos!). Good luck with the 59!
@@DXCommanderHQ you want like prop noise? Or some drone specific music? I hate getting music rights. I have artlist.io I pay for so all the music is actually owned, but the selection is mediocre as you can hear..
@@walkervalleymediahe means something quieter and more neutral when you aren’t talking as well. The loud music to wash out everything else is dated and grating to people today, it’s okay to keep it the same volume as a steady background noise the whole time instead of trying to make it a feature.
@@walkervalleymedia Another idea is to get into the engine room and start up the engines, or generator so the viewer can get feel of the sound level when working and living down below.
I think Nordhavn dropped the ball with this one. Not a fan of the layout. The master is so small with athwartships bed. The saloon is small. It is pretty lacking compared to a 57 or one of the later evolutions. Too many tradeoffs for an extra 8 knots.
I’m a Nordhavn fan but not this one. I would assume this puts a 60’ Nordhavn on the Great Loop with less than a 5’ draft. But there are plenty of 60 footers out there that are not only Loop worthy but can cruise the Northwest all the way to include Alaska. And, while giving you more boat than this one offers. Marlow, Fleming, Krogan Express just to name a few (and there are plenty more). I think the design is a big miss; pathetically small and awkward owners cabin, plain wrap VIP, and a 3 bunk cabin (why?). The main deck layout is cramped and doesn’t flow. Why no raised pilot house? I honestly expect a much better design from Nordhavn, this looks phoned in. Nothing personal but the enthusiasm of the walk through matches the design. I do wholeheartedly agree with one point, it is a California deck (even Capt. Steve calls them that. I’m also from CA). I can get into Nordhavn’s like I can a vintage car, but this is an Edsel. Great video work and editing, but lose the music. Thanks.
I don't care for the layout I much rather have the pilot house separate like the older ones. I wouldn't upgrade to this. nor do I like the exterior of the boat I'll take my 2017 over this any day
This is from the Coastal Pilot series, so a much faster boat, with some sport fisher and motoryacht elements instead of the pilot house trawler style Nordhavn is more known for. Great visibility all around from this lower helm, but not as good of a forward view or commanding presence as a pilot house
I usually love Nord's, this boat I cannot get into. It seems they tried too hard to fix something that wasn't broken. The main deck layout is atrocious. Total disaster.
A very nice boat. The forward cabin is by far better than the aft., nice galley with a full size frig. However I don’t know what the significance is with such annoying music with all these videos. Please leave the music out. That way we can hear what the presenter is saying.
Absolutely beautiful
Agreed, all the Nordhavns are amazing. Thanks for commenting!

@@rayjermyn4541 it has a slightly different mission than the other Nordhavns, but still that heavy build quality
Amazing he can come around whit that camera!! Hats off!!
It would be perfect in Mediterranean sea. Engine room is very well organized. Potenzially eight pasengers, good galley... All good.

What’s the range at cruising speed?

I just checked the listing, recent price drop to $1.75m. Let me know if you want to see it in person I can get you scheduled 😊
Californian deck I don’t think so m8 !
@@davidrickhuss2984 do you call it a Lanai deck?

Good tour but that background music is just annoying, and so unnecessary.
Its not have the Nordhavn smell….
Sorry, but this has been my least favorite Nordhavn layout. Just my opinion. Great boat.
