I shake a lot too, Brother, so I know what you go through. Guess it's an unfortunate side affect of being a Mechanic for 35+ years! Thanks for showing these products to us. Take care, Sir. o7

I am happy I listened to you and got the AEM 30-0300 as the glowshift one is always there on Amazon is so tempting with all those Chinese savings on Amazon. I am pretty sure Bosch started manufacturing low end products in Germany, China as I have bought an analog oil pressure and an analog temp gauge for the oiling system on a turbo truck build and one was high end while the other made me scratch my head how it came from the same company. Both from Amazon who I know for a fact rejects counterfeit products, but all about dohwfwouifh or some other keyboard vomit name brand knock offs.

I just unboxed the MTX-L on Saturday too. I installed it in my wife’s Procharged Camaro. I’m also using an Innovate in my blower car and have had zero issues so I expect no less from this one.
I’ll be following your GTO series very closely since I’m new to tuning without a screwdriver, her Camaro is a GEN3, and you are my go to channel.

I have the innovate on my c4 vette.
I have the sensor in the collector on the long tubes...
I picked up the innovate for about $80 on amazon as a return.
It's the model w/o the gauge.
I lucked out and got a sealed box, no signs that it had ever been touched.
Anyways, overall i love the unit.
With my aftermarket ecm (ebl), i had no issues with setting it up directly and using it as my primary sensor to tell the computer how the car is running.
Only issues i have had is with sensor life.
I quickly learned to always keep a sensor on hand since i never know when it will die.
Also i have to do the sensor calibration every few weeks to keep the sensor from reading too lean, and then tossing more fuel in.
With my ls2 in my truck, i went with your recommendation.
So far the only thing i don't like is the lack of a serial connector on the harness
My wiring is still pretty sketchy there... lol
I had a trans cooler line blockage that confused the fk out of me for a little while. 😬
Just about to get back into tuning since that required me to totally dissemble everything...
This time with a proper o2 bung before the cat. 👍
Fresh rebuilt 6l80, first time doing one of those, so here is hoping... lol
Tons of upgrades, so assuming i didn't tear a piston, it should be much better than it was.
If you have ever worked on a 700r4/4l60 type of transmission, the 6l80 is a gorgeous piece of engineering compared to it.
    So straightforward.
From the factory, my 6l80 was super sloppy.
Clutch clearances with fresh clutches and steels were either out of spec, or way out on the far end of the spec.
    Then the end play... lol
All good now, but i am wondering about the transmission "volume" tables and if i affected those.
I have a knockoff tech2, so I'm not too worried.
But I am curious how those tables might affect my new clearances.
This stuff beats model trains, probably costs about as much though. 🤣
Sorry for the rambling, caffeine intake right now so i can get motivated to get back out to the garage and finish this thing.
Your videos are awesome, the clearest ones i have found so far.
Thank you for all that you do!!

Ha! Awesome, I recommend the Mtxl on your question post because I share your love for reading with Lambda and I had a feeling you would be excited for the interface..this is the same unit I've been using for years you won't be disappointed! It is such a well constructed user friendly piece I would recommend it to everyone!

Great idea comparing widebands. Looking forward to seeing the narrow band simulator hookup. IMO, Innovate is the teal deal.

Love the new content Kyle. Having had issues with multiple AEM widebands crapping out in me, I switched to the Innovate PLX for my mobile tuning build and my wired in setup for my LS1 240sx. I’ve not yet figured out how to bring in the serial out signal into HPTuners via the USB adapter, so would really appreciate that explained in the next video. Currently, I’m having to bring the 0-5v analog out signal into the pcm on an EGR signal and I don’t really care for that design. ABT brother!

I had the same issue. The only way I've been able to get my laptop to see the serial input is to plug the usb connection into the laptop before I turn the laptop on. Plugging it in after turning it on, it never sees the data from the usb port. Hope this helps.

The digital offers lambda, but it would be nice for an analog lambda gauge.

I'm not a big fan of premade harnesses and extra modules that take up precious space. What do you do with all the excess wire to make it look clean? I like the second one better.

Please help. I watched an old video you did about trans and i have 2 questions. When i log the pid to see selected pattern i see 2. In drive it shows unknown 0B and in tow haul it shows performance. I believe even though it shows unknown drive is normal pattern and pattern x. The issue is i dont know what pattern is towhaul. Also in the shift general tab the shift pattern type is throwing me off. Pattern a is set to Pattn 1 and Pattern B is set to Normal. What is going on??? Also in Shift pressures general tab it shows normal shift being pattern x Pattern a shift being Pattern y and Pattern B Shift being pattern z.

Thoughts on the innovate 3891 DLG-1? Especially since your interested in a sensor in each bank. For tuning would you just one use bank or pull from both sensors and average like fuel trim?

I have the glowshift, i love it. If you need the info for hptuners I can send it if you want. The glowshitf also has a dimmer also. I use the pro link. If you didn't get the install instructions for the glowshitf I have a copy of that to

You always mention the 30-0300. On hptuners website they have the 30-0334 and not the 0300, is there a reason to get one over the other. Is the only difference the ability to just plug into the obd2 port. Trying to figure out if the extra $40-80 is justified or save my money and hard wire the 0300. Working with an '06 silverado flex fuel and an mpvi+2 if it matters. Will also be boosted further down the road if it matters. Also could we get a generic install video or are the directions clear enough when I get the unit purchased. I'm not at all afraid of wiring but I'm sure some subscribers aren't as familiar with automotive wiring as I am. I can get through it with crappy directions, but even I'd like to know what I'm getting into, I'm sure a lot of people without a background like mine are going into this install absolutely clueless and a wideband install for dummy would be greatly appreciated by subscribers. Great channel love the content. Look forward to watching and liking future videos

@@GoatRopeGarage if you're planning on using the gtog8ta one, the bezels are probably going to be too fat. I used an aem and didn't want to mod either the gauge or the pod, so I just put it on there so that it's not nested into the hole all the way. It's only noticeable from the side but it's strictly utilitarian for me.
I'm going to put an extensive video of the installation of it up on my channel but it'll be a while before that goes up. I've got 3 header videos and a fast intake video in the works first and editing is slow. I guess if you have the gator pod in hand then you're well aware of this.
