Hey guys.
In this DCS World Simulator video I'm in the SU35 Flanker trying to stope incoming strike made of B1 Lancer escorted by 2 F15 Eagles and then, I get another mission.

I love playing simulators, I started with Arma 3 and then I saw DCS World. I also enjoy War Thunder , Battlefield , Ghost recon, Squad , Rome total war, Microsoft Flight Simulator and more. I also enjoy World War II games including il-2 In DCS World i found all the jets that i wanted to fly in a simulator the F 16 Viper , FA 18 Hornet , F 15 Eagle , A 10 Warthawg , SU 27 , Mig 29 , P 51 , Spitfire , AH 64 Apeche , Heuy and more... And if you will download MODs the options are endless: F 22 Raptor, SU 57 , A 4 Skyhawk , SR 71 Blackbird , Rafale, Gripen and the list goes on.

You did NOT miss the 5th bandit. It was still ATTACHED TO THE TANKER when you shot the tanker down.
It would be great to see how the ukrainian airforce could employ tactics to use the f-16A MLU they could receive, to make a difference at the front, when they will likely be limited to amraam B or C5 at best, plus HARMs and JDAMs. And, they could be facing all type of air defenses, plus mig29, su27, su30, su35 and mig31s.

That was awesome. If it didn’t show the replay I wouldn’t have thought it was hit either.
With the flexy-tube could feed 2-3 aircrafts, that would be a world record to shot them at once (actually the world record did by an Iranian Tomcat using a single Phoenix against three MiG-23, hitting the leader in the middle and debry washed away the two on the side).
@@Cuccos19 not really the debris. The phoenix is a large missile with a lot of high explosives and a fragmentation warhead. So when it explodes it not only causes a huge fire, heat and impact, but a lot of splinters and fragments are scattered at an immensely high speed. That's what causes the heavy damage.
One of the biggest factors that sets your video quality aside from most other DCS content creators out there(even great GS himself)is your great camera angles that almost feel like a movie

The AI was pretty stupid on this one, the USA(A)F learned in WW2 that tethering escorts to the bombers meant bombers got shot down. And a tanker racetrack that close to hostile airspace? 2 F15s shot down and the other 2 just stayed at the tanker? That KC135 would have disconnected and ran as fast as it could when word of the strike package’s destruction reached it, let alone 2 F15s no more than a few miles away.
Its a game dude chill if this was some other AF yall wouldnt be so butthurt

The ai in this game is very poor. Just something you have to accept in these videos. Still Longshot is one of the better guys doing this.

@TheShrouded you're correct on that. Generally, it's GS being so sneaky and sanitizing the air. But his fulcrum take down was payback, suddenly surprised. F-22 flared prior to shooting. Funny.

LongShot is always good with the guns, really can take very long shots to the enemy. Those Gun kills were awesome and made me remember where he shot down GS with his radar missing in a rate fight.

One thing of note, the B-1B had better be terrain following. Sitting up all pretty in high altitude is a death sentence for it.
It had F-15 support, which was useless since the SU-35 is obviously a 6th gen fighter in this mission.

That was a weird fight with the tanker. There is no way a fighter would remain in formation and the other still attached to the boom while their mates are being shot out of the sky. It just wouldn't happen that way.
And then the refueling fighter wierdly died in sync with the tanker

That tanker would have been like “see ya!” when the Bone and its escorts were killed.

it was re-fueling w/ the tanker, he got two for one when he shot the tanker...
@wilymcgee I saw that one, I thought there was another wider one to the left of the on deck plane he mentioned at 14:01 but looked back and he had all he accounted for on VID.
Those 4 flying at the end just graduated from flight school lol

YES, the sneaky infrared mountain shanker/ghost finally got a long range Fox 2 Kill- geez those particular missiles love flares- and the SUN....actually decoyed one? That's rare to see in DCS it seems
It's funny, GS has started doing the sneaky infrared thing now more and more- but Longhsot executes it PERFECTLY here
Challenge request to Longshot- try to do the same with a FLIR pod in a american jet!(it's far harder since ED didn't add full A2A functionality to them like in real life, only limited stuff)
Can't wait to see Longshot become even more of a pro at this sneaky infrared play- so satisfying!
I was expecting it to end with: "... and then, suddenly, a wild Raptor appeared!"

@@emmavaria It was just hilariously tragic: The MiG was just stacking Eagles, Hornets, & Falcons, and out of nowhere the Raptor was like, "yeah, you never had a chance brah: I'm done watching."
Talk about a perfect mission! You must have been so chuffed to see the fourth Eagle'd gone down with the tanker.
Superb flying. Others have said this, but you got a double kill! Got one of the F-15s simultaneously with the KC-135. Definitely should go in a great moments video in the future.

Do you control the camera shake while recording the 3rd person footage, or do you add it during the edit? It feels very organic. Your external angles cut in between the gameplay must add hours to the recording and editing process, but they add so much motion to the video its worth it
It's actually an in-game setting. There's a smooth camera and a camera with shake.

Yes I am the one moving the camera. There is a setting that will give the camera a bit of shake, It didn't work for me on this recording, dont know why. And yes, It adds a lot of time to the recording and editing.

Ayyy finally got the sneaky long range fox 2... and the two birds with one (highly explosive) stone was a surprise cherry on top. Cool mission and LS Flanker fun we all know and love, but were the last two Eagles in the second flight really that desperately low on fuel or just half asleep?

The bots flying the F15s were very stupid, including the one attached to the tanker. Obviously the tanker boom operator saw the fireball from the first Eagle and no one reacted at all.
This was such a beautiful mission, had merge, gun kills, electro optical sneaking up, Long Range Fox2s!! But the hypersonics were total flops. First watched it on the phone, then couldn't wait to get home to watch it again on a bigger screen and headphones.
The Super Flanker is such a babe, so satisfying to see it wipe out 6 eagles and go home

The EW capability, reduced visibility, near supersonic speed and terrain following ability of the Bone would make this mission impossible. The B-1 was designed specifically to penetrate deep, go in hard and fast, and drop a huge load onto our enemies. Hence why USAF wants a B-1R variant.

Yeah and su35 was made to hunt them down, most powerful radar ever mounted on a fighter jet plus a hypersonic missile going mach 8 would ve murdered the b1

Su-35 is not afraid of missiles, he is only afraid of birds. Most of all this plane was shot down by birds😂.
At the end he was searching for the guy who got killed along with the tanker cause he didn't brake off. 2 birds in one stone.
Please put up a full F18 radar tutorial, all the one I've found are way out of date, not showing all the features, as they were not fully implemented

They were about half way. I dont think they were quite at 45° and the range is from 15-67.5°. Thats normal if it was heavily loaded at high altitude.
Were you fighting against AI in this video Longshot?
I guess those F15 pilots dont communicate with others when they are being attacked.
