As someone said above, he is a mega talent. I think he has one very very small weakness and one a little more serious that time will cure with this level of talent. The first is that his very high harmonics are not resonant enough. The second is that he doesn’t quite yet have the skill of finding space and just relaxing the tension slightly in very fast music, he needs to learn how to find breathing space. But I am pretty sure he will. That was a truly wonderful performance.

I heard it many times played by reknowned violist and it was boring and sometimes out of tune. Young schnitzler plays with bravoure, his hart and and incredeble vituosity for his ages. It is outstanding and a pity he didn't persue a solo carièr. Trio's can be beautiful but the master pieces with a very good orchestra is for me more fulfilling. Shade.
