Gulf of Mexico is about 25 mins west, Shopping is 12-15 mins away including Publix, Walmart, Winn Dixie, new Target coming soon, hospitals about 20-25 mins away in Crystal River and Inverness, also hospitals in Ocala, emergency room close by in Hernando/Beverly Hills
Is Citrus Springs close to high way 200 and the shopping malls and the hospital and I 75

Must be real old and not interested in socializing to want to move from Ft Lauderdale to Ocala or Citrus springs. All you get there is isolation and boring vibes with limited access to any commercial activity.
I lived there and had to move out. It's for old people. No socialization unless you are at the checkout line Publix or Walmart. The only thing to do there is to go to the springs, which are so cold. Nothing like the warm water of Miami Beach. Don't be fooled. There's a reason the lower home prices.
