I enjoy both games, I love WuWa gameplay and I love chilling in Genshin. I don't get why some people won't accept the chance that both games can co-exist and compliment each other in times of drought. We are basically winning.

For YangYang having only 1 prior role isn't inherently a problem since people have to get experience somehow. Every VA had 1 prior role before getting their 2nd role. The problem is Yangyang plays a very prominent role in the story and having 1 or 2 takes definitely isn't going to help nurture whatever voice the VA wants to try and give that character.

I'm having a blast playing Wuwa. Then i finally got around the controller issue with mobile. Now I'm using a controller with my note 10 plus. Makes me love the game more. If anyone wants to use a controller on mobile let me know I'll tell you how i did it
Co-Op in Wuthering Waves... is AMAZING. I could co-op and collect pokemon for hours in WuWa. I was so worried about Intro/Outro skills in Co-Op... for NO reason. It works. It works WELL. It's fun and makes combat and team building really cool with friends. And there's actually something to do. I can hunt for shinies and hunt for main stats and since we can run up and down mountains together, it's just so much more time playing the meat and potatoes of the game (combat). Co-Op in genshin is majority spent sticking to the side of a mountain making awkward small talk. Co-Op in WuWa is leagues above genshin. And it's bc of 1. Pokemon, 2. Unlimited Sprint, 3. Running up mountains
I appreciate wuwa unironically because I thought some of Star rail and Genshin va’s were bad until I heard wuwa. Made me appreciate the raw skill it takes to perform on that level. Hopefully wuwa va’s play the game, learn the context for their characters lines, and are able to perhaps rerecord and do better. I’m sure they can.

one hypothesis I have is Kuro let new VA to voice these new characters since let's be honest they are 1.0 characters, and they are probably wanting to have big name VAs to voice their up coming characters, from what I see in terms of combat mechanics wuwa characters are very similar to pgr 1.0 characters. If I was Kuro I would also get new VAs to voice early characters and for big events and new characters I would hire experienced VAs

EU has amazing voices actors. FFXIV upgraded to them and has used them ever since. It almost feels like Wuwa picked FFXIV's old studio that was so bad they eventually had to apologize and change to a different one. Voice acting matters so much for a game. I've seen a ton of people quit already because the voices made it sound like a budget game that wasn't taken seriously in the West. They have to fix this. Also some amazing voices have said they would love to voice act for the game. I would recommend at least getting in contact with them.

HoYo employees would be insane not to play WuWa. It could only help them to see what WuWa does well, and potentially implement some of it. It's why Yoshi-P had his devs play WoW during the reboot of FF14. ZZZ isn't a competitor to WuWa, but it could be seen as being in line with PGR. So similarly, both companies should be playing all these games to figure out what works.
Man, I just can't get back to Genshin. The mass of the content is just overwhelming. I was the Day 1 player and the amount of the weird stuff is just what makes me to immediately quit. I just can't back there. I maxed out everything till the 1.4 update, since, you know, Covid. But I just can't back to the game. If you login as a new acc or returning acc, they are throwing at you like 50 different quests. If you make a new acc in HSR, you progress from planet to planet and slowly unlock new content and events. When you login to PGR, it's pretty much the same (except you need way more time to do all the stuff in PGR). HI3rd is a game that expect you to play Hi3rd only, because of how much time the event's takes (and you have constant events. One stops, another one begins). That's why Wuwa is so refreshing. Event's are quick and easy like in HSR, Story, and the Universe is fresh. That's why normal players and enjoyers on YT, are making the content that WuWa protag is new member of the Astral Express C:

And look, I joined this anime game gacha community 1 year ago and I see this Wuwa x Gensh feud even before Wuwa was released. Or gensh x with anything else. the issue isn't just the words he's using its the fact that its not being put into the context of the essay video that it is. the video first poses a hypothetical, then gives reasons why he believes the hypothetical, and ends basically saying "given these things are true" it is obvious that this is the conclusion. this is a legit point tho. one content creator saying they havent been forced doesnt mean all havent. everyone's legal documents might not be the same. a well known VA who might speak out because they have a lot of other jobs will get different treatment to smaller VAs who cannot afford to lose contract with hoyo. its business leverage. if you remember a lot of smaller CC used to sign exclusivity deals with hoyo for genshin because they wanted to get in hoyo's good graces. just because one cc didnt cater to it doesnt mean its not a thing with the rest.

For YangYang having only 1 prior role isn't inherently a problem since people have to get experience somehow. Every VA had 1 prior role before getting their 2nd role.
The problem is Yangyang plays a very prominent role in the story and having 1 or 2 takes definitely isn't going to help nurture whatever voice the VA wants to try and give that character.

I'm having a blast playing Wuwa. Then i finally got around the controller issue with mobile. Now I'm using a controller with my note 10 plus. Makes me love the game more. If anyone wants to use a controller on mobile let me know I'll tell you how i did it

Co-Op in Wuthering Waves... is AMAZING. I could co-op and collect pokemon for hours in WuWa. I was so worried about Intro/Outro skills in Co-Op... for NO reason. It works. It works WELL. It's fun and makes combat and team building really cool with friends. And there's actually something to do. I can hunt for shinies and hunt for main stats and since we can run up and down mountains together, it's just so much more time playing the meat and potatoes of the game (combat). Co-Op in genshin is majority spent sticking to the side of a mountain making awkward small talk. Co-Op in WuWa is leagues above genshin. And it's bc of 1. Pokemon, 2. Unlimited Sprint, 3. Running up mountains
I appreciate wuwa unironically because I thought some of Star rail and Genshin va’s were bad until I heard wuwa. Made me appreciate the raw skill it takes to perform on that level. Hopefully wuwa va’s play the game, learn the context for their characters lines, and are able to perhaps rerecord and do better. I’m sure they can.

one hypothesis I have is Kuro let new VA to voice these new characters since let's be honest they are 1.0 characters, and they are probably wanting to have big name VAs to voice their up coming characters, from what I see in terms of combat mechanics wuwa characters are very similar to pgr 1.0 characters. If I was Kuro I would also get new VAs to voice early characters and for big events and new characters I would hire experienced VAs

EU has amazing voices actors. FFXIV upgraded to them and has used them ever since. It almost feels like Wuwa picked FFXIV's old studio that was so bad they eventually had to apologize and change to a different one. Voice acting matters so much for a game. I've seen a ton of people quit already because the voices made it sound like a budget game that wasn't taken seriously in the West. They have to fix this.
Also some amazing voices have said they would love to voice act for the game. I would recommend at least getting in contact with them.
The best possible fix is to have the game default to JP/CN. Make English an option, not a default

HoYo employees would be insane not to play WuWa. It could only help them to see what WuWa does well, and potentially implement some of it. It's why Yoshi-P had his devs play WoW during the reboot of FF14.

If you login as a new acc or returning acc, they are throwing at you like 50 different quests.
If you make a new acc in HSR, you progress from planet to planet and slowly unlock new content and events. When you login to PGR, it's pretty much the same (except you need way more time to do all the stuff in PGR). HI3rd is a game that expect you to play Hi3rd only, because of how much time the event's takes (and you have constant events. One stops, another one begins). That's why Wuwa is so refreshing. Event's are quick and easy like in HSR, Story, and the Universe is fresh. That's why normal players and enjoyers on YT, are making the content that WuWa protag is new member of the Astral Express C:

Maybe its just me but i feel like when tectone hears wuwa criticism, he says "oh i gotta see the full context before making my take" and then when he hears genshin/mihoyo criticism he says "TRUUE"

While I really don't care about the drama and enjoy playing WuWa, these whole drama things are really amusing to watch

They play it on stream, do you think game devs only play their respective games? Of course they will play a new rival game to check it, and have fun while doing that. I'm sure WuWa devs play Genshin too.
