On a one week snowboard winter holiday this january, where my friend, his sis and her gf (my crush) were present, my crush made several confusing signals. While playing activity in the afternoon, once she described her card to me in a romantic way where it wasnt necessary at all. Once, she read to me a pretty freakin long romantic story from instagram or fb or idk where from, for no special reason. One day she told me something on the ski track when i waited for her to catch up (she was the slowest and others went ahead). We stopped for a little and she told me she had a dream with me. Also added, something like "its wierd that a dream can mix up everything". I didnt have the courage to ask what she's dreamed about (i fealt like it might have even been sexual (or romantic), as she's a little perv in a good way, which i found out later). She touched my leg, hand and shoulders a little, several times during the week.
Theres one problem tho. She's got a boyfriend. I knew about it before, so i didn't do much, but i wish i had a little more. Now the situation is, we text almost every day (theres only two skipped days since that holiday). Iam not the only one who always starts the conversations. Once i told her to go to the cinema together. She said no, she feels like it would probably hurt her bf, but she said my "attractive features", how good am i and blabla. I didnt mean this cinema as a date at that time. However i mentioned her about a week later that i like her, but i said i will respect that she's in a relationship. She said she tought it and she knew i didnt meant the cinema as a date. Its like a friendzone, yea. We agreed however that i should not call her a "friend", and she offered a 'funnier' name for herself which relates to something funny but not important on the holiday.
This week i talked to her a little less as you and many other youtubers said in the vids and i also felt like i need to take a step back. I was too good to her. I see she's still trying to start conversations, but its a little different like the days right after that winter holiday.
This thursday i had a match on tinder with a girl. Funny thing, she asked after a few lines what iam looking for on tinder and i've also asked her. She said she's looking for friends, she has a bf but he rarely goes to anywhere with her :D. She also asked me out to a walk in the park with no date set yet but probably in the next few days. I said OK, why not. It might be useful for me too. Yet, i still like the first girl a LOT. What are your toughts on this whole thing? I didnt talk to my crush about the tinder girl so far and i try to keep myself busy and improve my life in general, but i still miss her.
Btw i knew my crush from years earlier but we only met twice before. The second of it was a 4 day music fest with friends, but the status was similar. Confusing sings from her (like sitting on my shoulders during concerts), and she had a bf, a different one. She didn't have her bfs in either the fest and the holiday, which is a little strange imo. We've only started talking regurarly after the winter holiday.

Omg so that thing with text ignoring is real mixed signal. Im generally trying to act bold, if she sents mixed signals or when she ignores a message i don't ask her why or spam... I just wait. And boom after few days, i usually get a message. And then im confused even more, so she had at least one thought about me 🤷♂️. This is becoming complicated but it is weird that im kind of learning to play that game what ever it is? Im starting to question too what i want, friendship or something more.

Naah… Mixed signals can also be the same thing as ”misread signals” and that’s on you and not the other person…
Mixed signals can also come from the fact that the person you get them from simply doesn’t fit into/follow social rules/patterns 100%. Lots of the “signals” everybody talks about are based on social rules/patterns that surely the vast majority of people follow but a lot of people doesn’t do it to 100%.
A simple example is literally every single signs that has to do with texting. Cause they are always based on a society where everyone acts a similar way when texting… but that’s not the case at all. There are many different personalities in texting…. For example you have my type… the one that always answers within seconds and always put a lot of energy into every single text using a lot of emojis etc… starting multiple text conversations every single day… so if you don’t receive a reply from me or get left on read you are probably hated or I am dead…
In the other end of the spectrum you have the one that always take long to reply… if they even reply… they never start text conversation… they never use emojis… they write as short answers as possible etc… but they still like you… in between these there are just as many text personalities as there are people in the world…
So when you look at any so called “signs” that are related to text messages you will most probably feel like there are mixed signals… cause maybe they reply within seconds but with one word but they loves to hangout with you and flirt with you… maybe they don’t even reply but they show interest in person… maybe they reply instantly with long and animated answers but in person they show no interest at all…
As is said on this video they can act different in text compared to how they act in person… that’s true for me as an example… I can be very leading in the conversation in text, but in person I will probably not be. Some people are the opposite of this.
Another example of mixed signals is when you get millions of good signals but there is one key signal where you get a bad signal… what does it mean… well maybe all the good signals actually just are the overall personality of the person…
Mixed signals can be mixed signals of course and that would mean that the person is not sure what they feel or they are playing games with you…
But the mixed signals can also be misread signals or the result of a person’s personality.
The first one… yes move on… the last two… naah… you need to figure this out first before you can decide if you should move on or not

Hey, it's possible that you can take some time getting to know her without having to get into a relationship with her. You could always just focus on the friendship with her if you don't want to date right now or you can date her in the sense that the two of you can hang out one-on-one but you don't have to actually be boyfriend and girlfriend. Either way, talking to her is something you should definitely do if you want to get to know her better.

I need help, I had a crush on this girl at my school and she was already in a relationship. You can probably guess she rejected me.
