You showing them boys how to do a legit & fast swap
You probably know more about Dodges that a lot of people that work for Dodge. Very handy knowledge with all the modifications that you make to these cars.
I noticed the roof has some pretty big hail dents. This is the perfect time to get those banged out.
Hell yeah, let's go Dave, get her done.
Thanks for this guide Dave.
Don’t think I’ll do this, but at least I know how to
Hats off to you dave. You the man. If you do a giveaway i will definitely get in on it.
Thanks
The SRT pages are there you have to wait til the radio finish updating/up loading by its self, give it a 1/3hrs it should be there
Iyo dave,I think a gen 2 charger hellcat front end would look crazy on the front of that, especially if you black out the grill
I love these builds
Me too
I’ve been waiting on this 🔥🔥
You've only worked on that thing a few weeks and it's already way better than factory! Crazy tip spooling up the factory loom tape for later use. Sucks to hear about the driveshaft. 🤔
Thanks and the new driveshaft is already shipped the guy made it in a day and it was way cheaper than the DSS
@@Junkyard_Dave Crazy!
You are awesome! Love your work. Great content always. God bless
Thanks you too
I've done a bit of wiring loom modification myself in the past with changing things. When I was working at the bike shop, I always did the wiring on the bikes when they were reassembled after painting. Other guys just saw a bunch of wires and gave up. But it was pretty simple, just matching colors and plugging in plugs.
Yeah it's pretty easy if you keep track of everything
Thanks again Dave!
great video Dave, once again beautiful job.
Thanks
@@Junkyard_Dave Nice to see some more video's coming out now.
Very clean install ....i like daves work
Thanks 👍
You are amazing when it comes to wiring
Thanks
I thought you were going to repaint the entire car the same color in the engine bay. Loving the long uploads. Clean work.
He is. Just gonna drive it first
@@Shiftheads I thought he was going to paint the inside before he started putting parts in is was I meant. But I guess there's no point in that if its not going to be seen.
@@PanameraTurboSEHybrid Yeah I just asked him that on the phone LOL.Trying to get it done so it can drive and have space again in the shop then will paint it later.
@@Shiftheads Ah okay.
I totally want one!!
Another Great Video Dave!! 😃
Glad you enjoyed it
That is so awesome . I love it being 2 wheel drive. I speed is going to be so great not like the STR8 was. I know at the time 2006 when I ordered my first one, It was fast for the time. Like I said i owed 4 Magnums.
Right on
I believe the tape you're looking for is High Temp Tessa Tape. I've used it and works just as good if not better than the factory stuff
Yeah 3m used to have some stuff but it's not very good anymore
Have those dents pushed out before the headliner goes in!
If you are having tose dents in the top fixed remember to not put the head liner back in until they have been fixed due to hammering or pulling out of the dents just fyi.
Call it the charger wagon
great 💪🏽
This build going so much faster. Build not much custom stuff. Keep up the awesome work. What is the gold color called?
It's a custom color
It's a modified Gold Rush
Can't wait to see them both finished and are you still going to finish the Durango as well...
I'll finish it eventually
I have a 2005 Magnum it has black carpet
I love your work. Question , are you going to upgrade the nose and tailgate to the charger style. I would love to see how it’s done. I don’t know if you show it on the blue car. If you did can you send the link.
There is a whole series for the Blue car
The blue car is actually a charger while this one is a magnum so it's different altogether.
Ok I’m going to go back and look. I love how you are so clear step by step how to put these cars together. Keep going with the magnum cars.
I DON'T HAVE THE PATIENCE FOR WIRING LOL
It is defiantly time consuming for sure
hey dave when you do the hatch handle wiring i def wanna see that. im trying to adapt a 300c harness to a magnum an that would be a huge help.
It's pretty simple just 2 pop button wires and 3 for the latch
@@Junkyard_Dave oh ok. I was just wondering where I should tap into for those wires. Imma visual learner lol. Great content though Dave. I've been here since the first magnum 💪🏽🤘🏼💪🏽🤘🏼💪🏽🤘🏼
Great video dave question would you do this swap for a customer?
It costs too much no one wants to pay for it to be done right
DA SHAGGIN MAGNUM!!! IN YO FAACCCEEEE!!! This one is gonna be LIT to. 🤔🚫🧢🌮🙏💯💪🏻🎬💰👀🦈😈🥶🛻💨 SUPA DAVE DOING THE DO!!! #hellcatmagnumwagon #junkyarddave #trackhawk #chargertrackhawk #inyoface #superdave #supadave #awdchargerhellcatt #itsalive #chargermagnumhellcat #trakcat #shagginmagnum #magnumhellcat
How did you do the doors
Hey Dave i need a little help finding the reverse wires. I thought the reverse light wires would be inside the tail light harness from the charger. Idk little I’m a little confused
Could the drive shaft problem be the motor mounts for the Magnum?
The engine sits in the same spot
The leather Dashboard
Are planning on using the Stock hood or doing anything special? How is the clearance on the Super Charger?
You have to get a hood with a scoop
Where do you purchase you PIN Kit? What Scan Tool or Program do you use to setup the Vehicle ( Like the ABS Bleed Procedure)?
All the new stuff with a gateway you have to have a dealer tool to get past it
What's up with that Durango you painted Green a couple of years ago?
Its just sitting there
Let me know if/when you decide to offer this as a "service"...I have a 2006 Magnum SXT with a bad engine but otherwise in good shape that would be a good candidate for a swap.
It usually costs around 40 to 60k for a swap
@@Junkyard_Dave yikes. That would be a hard sell for the wife on a car she already doesn't like. LOL!!!
How much harder would it be (assuming using the challenger dash and center console) to put a manual in instead of the auto? I know they didn't put out many (if any) manual hellcats, but I think the manual from the scat pack should work and handle the power, even so the scat pack could easily have a manual so it'd be interesting to have a manual magnum hellcat/scat pack.
It's pretty easy
@@Junkyard_Dave and I’m right that there weren’t any hellcat manuals but the scat packs had them and they’ll handle the extra power?
@@mizinoinovermyhead.7523 There were manual hellcats actually
I am beginning to think that you don't like rust 🙂
4 years in Minnesota and I don't want to deal with that ever again
Putting any sound deadening inside?
Nope it has full interior
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
sleeper keep it gutted and cage
Hey, I have a scat challenger harness, should I use that or go with a base model charger harness since it has the rear door harness connectors. Or is it simple to wire up the rear doors and use the challenger scat harness?
You have to rewire the dash harness if you use a charger harness
So then just use the scat challenger harness and wire the doors would be the best option?
Are you going to be doing paint and body work
When I get the front end figured out
@@Junkyard_Dave that’s awesome I love your work I have seen every all wheel drive charger hellcat magnum video and your absolute attention to detail combined with your skill and dedication and work are phenomenal
Hey Dave, what do you think about Dodgers concert EV charger when dge Magnum Dodge Magnum Returns for 2025 With a CGI Whiff and New-Gen Charger Platform - autoevolution

You're getting too old not to have AC???? I must be nearly twice your age and we only have AC in one of our cars, the one my wife mostly drives. The car that only I drive, a 1982 Mitsubishi L300, does not have AC. Granted, this old car has better air flow than the one with AC and the one with AC, a 1999 Mitsubishi Starwagon, really needs AC because of the way it's designed. Summers here in Queensland Australia can be quite hot.
It makes driving more enjoyable especially on road trips
So Red or Yellow?
Gold
drive shaft shop is the worst. everyone I know that dealt with them including me had nothing good to say about them. their stuff is over priced, poor customer service, and insane build times and thats even before 2020.
Yeah I have 6 or 7 cars with their driveshafts and I won't be buying another
Great job as usual, but quick question l? Did I hear you right the city charges you $8,000.00 for what?
Its for the damage to the blue car
