***** Yes thank you, exactly that. Always being frowned upon by people because of traditional beliefs and stuff. Which is horrid. Thankfully you get where I'm coming from, thank you
Why does it matter if you're female and Asian? I'm hispanic and play drums yet and i don't pride myself on that, i pride myself in actually playing drums, traditional beliefs or none.
An absolute legend. Miss him so much. Got to be around after a show personally. He was so worn out physically. But more so emotionally. It takes so much to be a drummer. Gotta keep the whole band together and go the hardest. Coming from a skilled drummer too.
I miss him in the scene too. I miss how WCAR used to be. No hate or judgement, of course... but losing Eric and Kyle was 1/3 of the band. IDK how to explain it, but it's like losing family. Maybe it just hits harder because To Plant A Seed is my favorite metalcore album of all time and losing 2 of the guys that made that masterpiece happen just simply sucks.
I would do anything to have been able to be behind Eric Choi. he's such an inspiration! The sounds his drums make are amazing. please upload more videos of him if you have any!
All bands at warped use the stage amps, its easier to set up, they just plug in all their equipment to the sound board and go. If all the bands used real cabs it would take forever to set up and do sound check.
I'd never considered wcar to be one of my favorite bands because I'd found them to be bland and unoriginal. I've never seen this side of them before. I've come to the conclusion that all of their music value must be lost in production because this is actually really good, I was blown away by the thing he did with the cymbals at 0:27
Such an underrated drummer, amazing
his signature drumming, that pretty little stick moves where he hit the little cymbals are unque.
those zil bel/splash fills are so amazinggggggggg
This dude was (and I guess still is) grossly underrated. Such a clean, creative drummer.
I love how he looks so chill when he plays. HAHA Proud Asian female drummer here too. Inspired.
proud of what?
proud of being asian and being a drummer, of being asian and female, or of being female and a drummer? or what

MrCJduo yup, absolutely. accurate psychoanalysis based off a youtube comment.
***** yeah that and my parents never loved me
At least he's honest with himself and doesn't have a pointless ride cymbal, unlike a lot of metalcore drummers who I think forget that even have one.
haha I was watching the video and im like where's his ride cymbal? then I go to the comments and I obviously was't the first to notice

my fav drummer probably. such amazing energy!
What’s crazy is that he uses the same size crash cymbals and bells usually drummers use different sizes but he makes this sound so clean

I think he likes effect cymbals. A little.
It's for show. There are plenty of other ways to transmit live guitar.
What evans head is he using?
coated g2 on toms. g14 or st dry head on snare.
Haha...looks like the bottom left is the only real one. Still, once you mic it that's all you need, even for Warped.
