thank you to everyone for the love on the last video as well as this one so far! the next video won't be f1, im planning a big wrc video but it might need a little time as i need to play the big 2024 update and decide whether i need to rewrite the script or not! i'll try to work on it as quickly as possible and see what's possible in the meantime ! 🫡
the game needs to not release every year, every game that release yearly sucks. Make 1 F1 game in 1 regulations and improve it with yearly patch with new liveries and enhance the driving experience or sth
@@Lay.s.where are you getting that from? Kunos head when talking about making ACC said they looked at alot of championships except F1 because it would have been too expensive
codemasters without ea, they know singleplayer but they can also make an accessible but believable handling model if they tried, we were so blessed pre 22
@@stepladder3257 controller wise. I love 23 and 24. So snappy and no input delay, so no, Codemasters couldn't do a handling model correctly until the masterpiece that was F1 23, and they ruined it (slightly) with F1 24.
damn your delusion is strong. but it would be awesome if valve decided to make their first racing game, especially since they have source 2, which can be very realistic in the physics department as proved by HL Alyx. It's an EXTREMELY miniscule chance, but i still hope they will make a racing game, no matter the type
why not have a few companies creating f1 games at the same time? If someone wants good graphics, more arcade handling, carrer and stuff they can play codemasters games, if someone wants 100% focus on racing and simulation they can try a different game. Remember that F1 manager exists so its not completely out of the question. And that would be great, bc probably that means lower prices and better products for us.
F1 Manager isn't the exact same game style as EA's F1, so that's why we have two F1 games at once. Sadly Frontier fumbled _again_ with F1 Manager, so I hope they lose their license with that.
As much as I'd be intrigued to see Reiza (it's definitely pronounced "Rye-Zuh") make an F1 game, they're a team of like, I think around 12-15 people. 😅 They were _technically_ planning to release their 1.6 update in the Summer, but blew past that for one reason or another. They'd need a larger team to take on F1, I'd think. But hey, at least they added Safety Cars into the Madness Engine, unlike Slightly Mad Studios. Shows that between Project CARS and Project CARS 2, Slightly Mad didn't really care to be innovative with features like a Safety Car, it's quite telling in hindsight. I do think a "Microsoft Flight Sim" release model would be the best idea for EA/2K in general, not much changes year-over-year for sports games. So, as an example, the regulations reset in 2026, make a game for 2026, then update that until the next regulation cycle. Boom, easy.
i love the fact that ea have done an update for the WRC 2024 content this year rather than a new game (even if the cynical part of me feels as if there's some bigger at play here). it would be cool for them to take a similar approach on the f1 side, especially as regulations tend to stagnate at points. it's just annoying they spend so much time on unnecessary changes that harm the game and end up abandoning things you'd actually care about
The Thing with Reiza Studios and the Madness Engine. The Version of the Engine that AMS2 is Build on is a heavily modified Version of the Madness Engine. If you directly compare Project Cars 2 and AMS2 they are Worlds apart. If Reiza spend Time upgrading the Engine their are set. Just Look at Something Like the Create Engine from Bethesta or Source from Valve. Or Even the ISI Engine. All of them are 10 or Even 20+ Years old.
They should give it back to Codemasters, I mean the WRC team still the same team as from the Dirt series. It should go back where they left the series, with F1 2020.
Yearly championship type of game like F1 games needs not to be released every year, if anything, they need to keep adding downloadable content yearly like a season update for a lower price or even better, free.
Nice video. I’d love for Kunos or Studio 397 to develop an F1 game but I don’t think this is possible in the near future. Kunos is very busy with AC evo, studio 397 with Le Mans Ultimate and all the issues of being owned by Motorsport games. I’m on the fence with Iracing, they haven’t showed the ability of developing a proper tire model yet and being an American company, I just don’t know they would be able to properly capture what F1 is (it’s not Drive to Survive). Maybe Reiza? But they also have to show they can do proper physics yet. We’ll see what happens but I stopped playing the EA Codemasters games 2 years ago and will never go back.
Just because F1 was portrayed like a reality series on Netflix doesn't mean that iRacing - or any American-based game studio - would portray F1 like that. Unless it was geo-locked, anyone who had Netflix had seen DTS the exact same way that we did in the U.S., it's not mutually exclusive. They have said they're working on a new tire model and DX12, so I'm hopeful that both go well for the platform as a whole.
@@ShadowWolfe I’m not saying they would necessarily miss to capture the spirit of F1 but I think it’s a reasonable concern. I’d be concerned about Kunos doing an Indycar game for the same reason
Okay okay. So what if Geoff Crammond suddenly comes back, and decides to make a modern F1 game? Yeah it is not realistic, BUT THERE IS A MATHEMATICAL CHANCE!
HEAR ME OUT, even though this has NO chance of happening, I think polyphony (creators of gt7) would be the best. It can use the same engine as gt7 meaning graphics would be great. And they can definitely make a good career mode. Their attention to detail and effort is also great
imo Codies can do a good job but they need to change how they do it cuz it clearly isn't enough what they do now don't want a change for the sake of it they just need to step up
no one tbh. Wouldn’t want Kunos on it considering the way AC and ACC have been left, wouldn’t want S397 because it would be missing content and be a pos to set up, iRacing will end up charging up the ass for it, which really only leaves Codemasters
Kunos would be nice. But they’re probably too small a studio. Also make it a service. A good game and then sell individual seasons. Obviously the me ones. But a 90s Season with all drivers and tracks would be nice too.
assetto corsa devs or gran turismo devs could make a new F1 game. like legit would be a good thing. i hate ea for their horrid adaptations of the f1 games since they bought the devs of the current f1 games.
I think 2k will take over the franchise if EA/Codemasters loses the rights to the game. They don't know anything about how to make a game fun, especially a racing game. I feel like that's exactly the kind of talent F1 is looking for!
they need to stop with the extra stuff, like, we had so many dlc tracks at some point and now we only have portugal, everything is about Online now, i rarely play online and if its your style i do not mind, its just that every other aspect is suffering due to all the extra stuff they're adding
starting work on it today! just wanted to get this video out first bc it was a bit easier to make and a lot of people had ideas in the last videos for people who could take over and i though it was super interesting ngl
unfortunately yes. it's not been 100% confirmed yet but there's a lot of shared content in rtt's f1 models and the old sim dream mods, and sim dream were notorious for stealing other's works. ruclips.net/video/9YetkbtD3bs/видео.html&ab_channel=JacobCappello
