It was a beautiful "full circle" moment for all who have been watching them battle all these yrs! And I have to say this season has kept me on my toes so far ....hope it keeps this up ...we never know and I love it
This is interesting because I had the exact opposite reaction. Given that Bananas didn't even try to fight for Wes in his team deliberation, him running up to Wes felt fake to me. You didn't even try to save him but now you wanna talk....🙄
As a new father myself, I don't think Wes crying was fake at all. He wasn't using that emotion to manipulate anyone. That house needs to give him more respect. They don't have to give him the vote he wants but he does deserve respect.
Congratulations on being a new father! I agree, Wes getting emotional wasn't a tactic. It was legit his real emotions about an era in his life he's possibly closing the book on. A major part of his life. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
Cassidy is really annoying me at this point. She keeps talking about her "rivalry" with Wes when truth is, he only voted for you because his team told him to. Then they ALL voted you in the 2nd go round to make up for initially deceiving him and creating an enemy against him that he didn't mean to create. There's no rivalry, beloved. Let it go.
I'll admit the editing had me as I totally thought Wes was going home but I'm so happy I was wrong! I love that even with Wes having his back against the wall like the other vets he takes it all on the chin, knows its all in good fun and even is great about coaching the rookies which is great to see. Also I laughed every time Tiffany said "Go to hell Dusty!" her confessionals are another season highlight for me!😂
I guess giving them pointers would have been a better way to phrase it. But in the previous episode when his idea to run instead of stopping for every puzzle got his team the win I thought that was great. @@sudanispeaks Yeah I'm really happy Wes stayed. I think he has more to give and I didn't want him to go out like that if it is his last ep on the Challenge for a long while or possibly forever. And yeah Tiffany is serving in the confessionals. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
Same. Like the editing/how this elimination played out seemed weird. But I'm really happy Wes stayed and can compete. I think he has a lot more in the tank and I'm glad that's not the ep he went out on if this is his last Challenge for awhile or ever. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
I’m shocked how much I’m enjoying this version of the Challenge! The newbies are actually strategic and influencing the vote, the vets aren’t getting all the airtime but nailing the comedy, the hooper picking your opponents makes it less personal and puts everyone on edge, and we don’t have Tori, Josh and Fessy dominating any storylines. Also the Show airing twice a week makes it feel like the Challenge is moving along at a good pace, rather than dragging slowly over 3 months. I’ve also noticed the camera work by Production has been top-notch! 👏💯
@@DukeJimbob yes it is a game like the challenge especially in elimination imo if wes actually won by 37 seconds it would be very obvious i just don’t believe wes had a lead that big and the entire house thought he lost even himself somethings not adding up
Aside from Desi disrespecting Wes showing his emotion, which is heightened when someone is expecting, this episode was fantastic. Watching Wes grow to where he is now for as long as we have is touching. Same guy who treated Johanna like garbage is worried about his kid coming into this world and providing for it. Positive masculinity is the only cure for toxic masculinity. I truly hope Wes will come back in the future after this season and to watch Bananas console him...I said it last week and I am saying it again today "DOGS AND CATS, LIVING TOGETHER...MASS HYSTERIA!!!"
Yeah - I hated Wes back in the Johanna days and the way he treated Casey even if she was a poor excuse for a challenger. Now he's probably my second favorite behind CT and I will be very sad to see him retire but happy he's prioritizing his family. That's the way it should be.
Dude has been a lifelong fan. TBH if I was on the next Fresh Meat season, I would be the exact same way. Getting to play with the people who have entertained you for years would be a joy.
@@huntergreene9781 The only way to stay in the game is to win. Votes are cool but when it comes down to it, you either perform or you don't. Dusty played fine for a rookie, but showed why the vets are the vets and rookies get ousted early.
@@huntergreene9781was happy to see Dusty on the season though, got to meet him while I was staying in his hometown in Missouri for an event and he was with his friend Ryan Ferguson (they went on the Amazing Race) and Ryan’s story is really tragic but has a happy ending if anyone is interested look up Ryan Ferguson and you’ll see what I mean cause it’s wild. Dusty is a pretty cool guy, and I wouldn’t be opposed to seeing him again
@@petekaiser8856 As a lifelong fan, he should’ve known that the vets would get him out before taking out any of their own. I understand your reasoning, but from a viewer stand point, it just made the game less exciting. This is the first season where we get to see the vets sweat for once. Dusty was ruining the fun for those of us that enjoy these moments. On S37, Emy completely destroyed that rookie vs vet battle by exposing Mickaela right at the beginning. Dusty was doing anything to stay cool in the vet alliance, I’d rather not see a repeat of that
I'm wondering if people focused more on who fell off fastest than how long it took someone to untie the wheels. I think Wes untied it much faster and was more efficient and he didn't spend a ton of time on the first wheel before going to the second.
@@alluviumed1654 something just don’t seem right. Dusty did say he was slow getting the wheels off but still it feels like the producers wanted this for Wes
The only thing that made it look like Dusty was faster was how fast they made it seem he got Wes off. It look like he was struggling with the 1st wheen and got the 2nd one off in good time. It look like Wes got both wheels off in good time
@@alluviumed1654He was not faster. They definitely wanted to give that off in the edit but the others even thought he probably lost, since they saw hoe fast he fell off. Dusty too forever trying untie those wheels like that AND took time to screw the bolts on the second wheel

Has anyone noticed that the editing has shifted this season; the person that gets all of the extra time is the one who wins the elimination. Historically, it's been the one going home.
none of the vets actually retire when they say they do i feel like they just need a mental break away from the cameras and drama they alway return at some point
Thank you so much! I take this comment as a big compliment. This morning has been hectic from storm prep and at one point I lost power for unknown reasons. Promise to be better in the coming weeks! Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
The Bananas and Wes friendship is something I didn't know I needed but I thoroughly love it. Wes going to the Blue Team and sending Chris to the Green Team is perfect because Blue Team seems to have the most vets now but it could also come back and haunt the Blue Team as well. The way Wes methodically got the wheels out from the ropes, I think is what actually helped him. It's going to be interesting to see if we are going to get all the vets on one team eventually, leaving Survivor and Big Brother on other teams. I could totally see Cory going into elimination and then sending Fessy over to the Red Team and going to the Blue Team, making it a very strong Vet Blue Team with a lot of power (to some degree). I hope that Operation Hat Trick continues to work for the vets.
It seems based of the preview for the next one that they are going to change formats after the next daily and slimination. So this great move by Wes is going to be short lived. But it was the "PERFECT" move.
@@11babo3b absolutely...I mean, if they do change formats, it could be individual or teams of two, so it could also be interesting to see if that's the case. Either way, it would be funny if Cassidy or someone that hates Wes, has to team up with him just to stay in the game
It was shocking and initially I thought it was all a ploy through editing to shock us with Wes' win but because all the other challengers were acting so surprised as well, it was strange. But it was also strange that no one even waited for the announcement before consoling Wes and saying Dusty's chaos would be back in the house. It made us all sure that Wes had lost. I'm extremely happy that was not the case and especially happy that he left his toxic green team and moved Chris to them - which made it even better. Hard to imagine the challenge without Wes but eventually it'll be a whole new group and we'll have to get used to it and find new favorites (hard to imagine who) or stop watching.
@@dontread12 Yes, Chris. For some reason, I keep forgetting his name. I've never been a big Devin fan although I liked him better the last time he was on. I think he's more like Johnny Bananas - always stirring up trouble. But he does like to strategize like Wes.
I think Dusty probably took forever to undo the first wheel. Everyone said he was super messy doing it. I think that's where he lost the 37 seconds. Everyone was hyper focused on how fast they fell after the spinning started. But untying the ropes probably is what was the most time.
I can see that. I think the edit felt sloppy and made the results feel a bit murky. But to me I'm happy Wes is still on this game and get to see him continue to compete. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
Keep the “I need the win for my kids” storyline for Corey, it doesn’t hit the same when the guy with 800 businesses and a mansion just for his trophies mentions it. 💯😂
He’s a staple in the game. It shouldn’t matter if he even wanted to do it for his kid or not.. I guess his financial situation is good outside the house.. but having a more comfortable life doesn’t mean you’re wrong for wanting to help your family. And yeah I believe because he’s thinking it’s his last one is the part of the emotion coming in.
Think what he was saying is he is retiring after this season because he will have a kid and too many responsibilities at home, not that he needs the money.
Dusty himself said on exit interviews that Wes was up there on the wheel for a while even though the edit made it look like he fell off fast. Any perception we may have or not about this elimination is entirely a direct result of editing
He's been teasing for a while now, even before he did (and then went on to win) All Stars. I think he truly loves the game so a part of him always wants to come back, but I think his real life responsibilities are real and he's genuinely at the point of fully prioritizing those.
Editing at its finest. The Challenge will never be able to escape these accusations of things being rigged until they find a way to properly edit in a way that shows the games are accurate and legit. I’ve always rooted for Wes since FM1 but if he truly won that elimination I’m annoyed at how it was edited to make it clear he lost just to be like ‘nah, you won bud’
Only way they can do that is it they upload the unedit footage w/audio on RUclips. I doubt they care about a "few" people thinking it's rigged. People still gone watch
@@zuffyg4772 doesn’t need to be raw footage, even something as simple as a clock or something. Just don’t make the edit so one sided just to flip the expected result.
@@SOLOPrOtEgE i agree. I'll put my skeptic hat on but I'm not giving into the idea of them fully rigging it. But like you said, putting together a very sloppy edit. @@AngelcakeVidsI agree it was not rigged, but for that type of audience out there, they did themselves no favors with this edit. Keep up the work good sir, killing it as always.
Thanks for posting! The DVR cut off the end and Comcast doesn’t know what they are doing and even trying to watch episode On Demand it was cut off. Great details and commentary. Thank you ! I now know what happened !
I think we also have to take into consideration that the show was telling us that Wes was going home. The edit was thick with that message so that can also make us feel like we are having whiplash about him winning the elimination.
Exactly. The edit showed us whatever fitted the narrative that Wes had lost because that's what they were going for. It doesnt automatically mean it was rigged. It just shows that as viewers we are highly susceptible to editing choices.
What were Tori and Bananas supposed to do though? They were clearly outnumbered and they seem to be trying to stick to their "operation hat trick" plan or whatever and are trying not to ruffle too many feathers. The "non vets" already knew they wanted Wes to go in before deliberation even started and fighting for Wes would have meant Tori and Bananas would have been drawing more attention to themselves again and will be going in next.
Wait, I can't believe this went over everyone's heads. TJ said 37 seconds separated them, but he didn't specify who had the better time. It's my understanding that Dusty had the better time, but failed to follow the directions by not attempting to use the smallest steering wheel. They were told to try to knock each other off by attempting to spin every wheel in order from smallest to biggest. TJ pointed out that Dusty skipped the little steering wheel right before he announced Wes as the winner. Dusty didn't try to spin the smallest wheel after attaching it, he just went straight to the next one. That's what caused him to lose, not that Wes had the better time. TJ specifically said "37 seconds separated you two, but in the end it was all strategy"
Well in fairness to Corey, his occupation is reality TV star... just kidding. I dont think we can make fun of Corey for going on the Challenge whenever he can. Lots of People have gone to the Challenge with kids at home. Practically everyone on all-stars. Darrel does all stars and MTV. Jonna came on the challenge 4 or so months after giving birth and has done 5 challenges in 3 years. Amanda is a single mother and a nurse and still goes when she can.

When you aren’t timing it yourself 37 seconds can feel like a lifetime but it really isn’t. I think wes won fair and square but they edited it to make it seem like Wes lost. There may have been people that thought wes won but they didn’t make the edit. I do think wes should have switched with Sebastian though. Keep Chris who is a more physical player on your team.
Something about the elimination was soo suspicious. I definitely feel like the producers made some suggestion to make Wes the winner. I love Wes and I hope this won't be his last challenge. Bananas and Wes definitely have evolved in sooo many ways! Maybe we can get a history recap of their evolution from enemies to frenemies because Bananas was really sweet to Wes this episode, and it came from a genuine place
And this eliminates the two people from “The Amazing Race” franchise. I don’t expect to see Dusty again, but I would love to see Luis come back a second time.
The biggest voting block and the biggest alliance is the ladies Secret Garden (Cassidy+Chanelle+Desi+Michaela+Michele). Will they be able to stay strong?
@@U2BearCat I get that, but in order for them to stay safe they need to join forces. The vets outnumber them when you include Faysal and Josh. The Secret Garden can easily be broken in the next girls elimination.
@@huntergreene9781 Survivor men are not going to vote for Survivor women. At this point in the game Survivor players are the largest group left in the game with 7 players left in the game. You have 6 Challenge Vets/BB players and 4 BB players. The real question is anyone aware besides us viewers that there is a Secret Garden Alliance. If the other players don't know about it they can't break it up. The only way to potentially break up the SGA is if either the Green Team or Red Team win and nominate Blue Team members into elimination. The Green and Red Teams can do this because Survivor is a minority on both teams. But you also have Cory on the Red Team who has been voting however the SGA has been telling him to. The big question is in the next episode can Red or Green beat Big Blue.

I don't see Wes truly retiring. He will definitely take a few seasons off to spend with his family, but he'll be back at the very least for All Stars or pinnacle numbers of the main challenge (IE 40 or 50) because those are probably the ones with bigger budgets.
I think people forget that Wes is human and he experiences emotions and care for people beyond himself even though he is extremely narcissistic. But like that’s what people love about Wes! He’s older and has other things to focus on and is just in a different place in life and it was refreshing to see him express his true emotions and how he felt being so far away from his pregnant wife. Like he loves her and probably has super guilt about not being there just in case. When people thought his emotions were part of the game it just reminded me of the engagement party and Cara was like this is fake. Like relaxxxx and be a human being. Clock out of the bubble just for a few hours and understand Wes is a human going through a major life change and will be a rollercoaster of emotions at times and that’s fine. He just gotta snap back when it’s game time!
That absolutely great!!! Oh I had to rewind to hear TJ announce the winner again! I loved he went to the blue team! His team screwed him and now he’s on team w his enemy. Love this so much! Good to see the old Wes and old Torrie!! Bringing it challenge style! 💪🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Honestly, watching this at first, I feel like Wes looked like he did at least the knot part faster. So I was surprised when they were all expecting him to lose which then surprised me that he won lol
Yeah I think we were all surprised that he won that elimination and it was a 37 second difference overall as well against dusty. The elimination was nothing special and pretty basic but Wes had the right strategy being fast and methodical with his approach while untying the ropes. I just thought that dusty was impatient trying y untie the ropes and the knots as well. I want to know what you think Sarah and what was your opinion when Wes basically said that this really could be his final season he has a kid his beautiful wife Amanda and him and her having a kid what is your opinion on that? My second question for you Sarah is now that Wes took Chris place on the blue after winning Cassidy is pretty pissed because she wanted Wes gone and basically are in a tricky situation she said that she is going to try to be frienimes with Wes but how will Cassidy handle Wes being on the blue team now because I feel like she and the rest of survivor and big brother aren't going to have the numbers advantage but what do you think Sarah?🤔
@@michaelwhite4004 I think Wes may really be done after this season or maybe just take a ton of time off before returning. Like he said, this show is a lot of his identity so I’m sure that would be hard to walk away from but once he becomes a dad he will know in his heart if and when he will be ready to come back. I honestly think Cassidy’s days are numbered. She plays a very paranoid game which we know doesn’t keep people around very often and even with the survivor numbers, I don’t think she will be safe for long based on this format and up against the right opponent to take her out. I also don’t think she’s right in worrying so much about Wes, ultimately this is an individual game and I think Wes has bigger fish to fry than getting rid of her, I think she should be more worried about her own people turning against her once the numbers are no longer a factor in voting and such.
@@sarahvEscalante Sarah you are correct she is playing a scared game overall and she's also think she really need to worry about the other people maybe from the survivor members that probably might say her name or blindside her overall yeah Wes did say her name but he didn't blindside her overall and Cassidy said his name but the fact that Cassidy called him a snake overall. I can tell after that Sarah you basically were like you are being to obsessed in getting rid of Wes overall in this game when I am pretty sure that Michelle or somebody on survivor is going to say or big brother to say her name and for her to be in another elimination . I highly doubt she not going to keep going after Wes but if I am Cassidy since we're both on the blue team . I basically would try to win as many daily challenges as possible because the green team is in shambles and the red team are going to implode at any moment plus it would basically keep her safe do you think that what she should do keep her safe Sarah because Cassidy really doesn't have any other choice but what do you think about that?🤔
Wes will be back lol. He's just putting on an act for the camera. Wes regularly takes a couple seasons off here and there anyway so it's not like him taking a couple more off will be a big deal.
I don't think Corey is really trying to work with the vets lol he was def in the convo about voting a man into the hopper to increase the chances of Wes going in. Now if he was SMART he would def try to get on the blue squad with the rest of them, but Corey hasn't always played the smartest soo...
Let’s put the skepticism hat on together because I literally yelled “WHAT” when TJ said that Wes won. Everyone was just way too thrown off for me. The Challenge is why I have trust issues.
Tiffany was giving main character energy this episode. I was shocked Wes won the elimination given the edit but I'm not mad about it! Sad all racers are gone though...
I think after this season is over Wes might take a break but I hope he doesn't retire I would love to see him back some point down the line when ever he's ready to come back
I remember the beginning of this season the trailer break down that Wes was going to be in another elimination. But I was stocked when he win. I am happy he win.
Same. Chris is more strategic and bigger. Also keep your friends close, your enemies closer kind of thing. Then again maybe Sebastian is easier to pull onto the vets's (Tori, Bananas, Wes, Faysal) side if in the nominations giving them a voting block to do what they want. I just thought of that. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
Just feels like Wes has the odds stacked against him every season now (besides all stars). People latch on to the "villain" and "untrustworthy" shtick no matter what he does because it's low hanging fruit. Even though if you think about it, what has he done in his past several seasons to make him a backstabber or untrustworthy? He stays loyal to his alliances IMO
how is it low hanging fruit when every time he comes on the season, he plays a very manipulative game? y’all are so blinded by his new nice guy persona that you forget what he has done or the way he plays.

@notamberp I've watched him on the challenge for a long time. He is manipulative but so is 80% of challengers. If you aren't trying to scheme your way into the best position possible then you just aren't a good challenger. Kam, Cara, CT, bananas, Ashley M, Laurel, they all do it...because they're good. Wes does get a bad rap ... for what? Give me an example of how he is evil or backstabbing?
I saw Wes post on his instagram story a couple weeks ago and he said something like here’s to lucky number 18 so I wonder if he’ll be doing all stars 5 soon or something?
I understand Wes tweeting that. I mean he wasn’t even doing much wrong to campaign against a bunch of people like usual and the things these rookies are saying it’s just crazy… not to mention bananas or Tori this vets Alliance aren’t even going to bat for him or weren’t even trying. Like Wes did for them, even though he was out numbered earlier in the same season… and the way the show starting to turn towards all the vets I could see the starting to become the consensus of all of them moving forward.. the fact that there’s less and less vets and it’s gonna be always get the vets out Bananas will start getting in that position as we saw him break down earlier in the season. I could see a lot of these guys starting to not wanting to come back… and you better pray that these rookies have the staying power, or even try to do multiple seasons, to get some staying power to build new characters and stars to carry the show because if not, they’re all going to be lost in the past.. even if CT returns, which is rumored, if it goes anywhere to the same way towards him may not want to come back and do another one either.. maybe All-Stars is all we’ll have left. Wes is definitely one of the all-time greats best elimination record.. three time champion.. first men’s solo winner 🏅. I will always wish that he could’ve won a few more. But hey that’s my guy always a huge fan… and if this is his last, hurrah, wishing him the best.
Yeah I would agree time perception could’ve been different if they have to reset the stuff up. But you neverrrrr know. But I think its interesting vets dont have to only replace another vet on a team.
I was very sad that this might be wes last season of the challenge he loves playing the challenge but he has a baby on the way and he is going to be a dad I like Wes he is an amazing competitor who is entertaining and fun to watch it sad to see him get upset because he has a baby on the way
Not gonna lie after watching this episode live last night. Maybe one of the greatest things to do(haven’t watch the challenge live in ages..thanks streaming and dvr cause I skip the ads lol) But regardless greatest Wes storyline in one episode. I haven’t felt this excited for Wes since Wes and bananas was working as a secret alliance. I think the challengers felt Wes time was slower cause they had lost the perception of time. So just seeing dusty rush so fast made it feel like he was killing it while yes Wes was fast just his body motion made every feel he was going slow.
This season is soo wild. You dont know who is going home each episode. The other seasons you count the number rookies to get eliminated for the episodes to get down to the knitty gritty. But this season is so spontaneous!
Umm...I was strangely frustrated with this episode. Typically being the underdog tends to create complex story, but with these particular vets they come across as whiny and entitled because they're not even tryinf to do something different (i.e. split up and build bonds with other people) Just disappointing....🤦🏾♀️
Nobody gave permission to Johnny to go up to the tank. He wanted his moment and got it. Disgusting since Johnny stays looking for his moment. TJ is the host, not you Johnny.
I was shocked to see that Wes had won. That's the power of editing for you. They really wanted to make it seem like Wes had lost to then pull the carpet from under Dusty and declared Wes the winner. Even leading up from the beginning of the episode, they really made it seem like he was going home by the end of the episode. I'm so glad Wes won tho. That's my guy! But I still don't feel he's safe.
I thought it was just editing but why was the whole house shocked when TJ said Wes won or was it all a set up? Why did Bananas say goodbye before the winner was announced? Were they told to make it dramatic?
@@gretchendietz1599 that’s a good point. That’s what made it all the shocking when Wes was announced the winner. We will never know. The cast could’ve been told to react shocked. 37 second difference is actually a long time so that wasn’t close like TJ had said
@@martymcfly3255 editing is everything. Dusty said after that Wes was actually on the wheel for a lot longer than they showed. I don't think anybody realized the rules of the game. It seems like everybody thought that since Dusty got Wes off the wheel so quickly after he started turning the wheel that Dusty won. But the time included the knot untying which is where it seems that Wes made up the time.
I said this last week. The vets should have made a super team with all the vets. They would have been safer that way. Bananas should have never sent cory to the red team.

Wes is one of my favorite players so the thought that this being his last season is sad. I am glad he won elimination and is coming back.
@@AngelcakeVids do you think it was rigged??
I’m shocked how much I’m enjoying this version of the Challenge! The newbies are actually strategic and influencing the vote, the vets aren’t getting all the airtime but nailing the comedy, the hooper picking your opponents makes it less personal and puts everyone on edge, and we don’t have Tori, Josh and Fessy dominating any storylines. Also the Show airing twice a week makes it feel like the Challenge is moving along at a good pace, rather than dragging slowly over 3 months. I’ve also noticed the camera work by Production has been top-notch! 👏💯
Alyssa looking at the camera and saying “this shit ain’t on me!” had me rollinggggggggg 😂
That moment was funny. Kinda reminded me of something I'd see on The Office. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
glad i’m not the only one who thought it was weird wes won by almost a minute and the whole house thought he lost
37 seconds is not almost a minute
SMH 🤦♂️
Agreed, on the Desi part. Such a low point for me.
Wasn't she the one crying a few eps ago?
@@zuffyg4772 Funny how that works.
Yeah - I hated Wes back in the Johanna days and the way he treated Casey even if she was a poor excuse for a challenger. Now he's probably my second favorite behind CT and I will be very sad to see him retire but happy he's prioritizing his family. That's the way it should be.
Tiffany's confessionals were the highlight of the episode

Y’all Stan Tiffany way too hard
@thewerewolfmask1655 she may not be the strongest physically, but she's entertaining
GO TO HELL DUSTY!
@@gman1474 I wouldn’t say that she’s entertaining but that’s just my take
Seeing the male version of Emy (S37) get booted was a relief. Dusty was pathetically devoted to the vets, as if he weren’t disposable to them 😂
Dude has been a lifelong fan. TBH if I was on the next Fresh Meat season, I would be the exact same way. Getting to play with the people who have entertained you for years would be a joy.
He’s definitely the male version of Emy, a pawn for the vets. Had he been voting with the rookies he and Louis could’ve still been there
@@huntergreene9781 The only way to stay in the game is to win.
That’s what I was thinking also
Wes was consistent in speed and Dusty’s wasn’t consistent so was harder to tell I think also
I agree. also I noticed dusty took the time to like screw the bolts of the second wheel in. Major time suck.
Sometimes I believe the challenge is rigged sometimes but I’m glad for wes
This!!! Like dusty was faster on the rope and spinning wheels than Wes but somehow still lost?

I actually was scared I was crying because I thought Wes lost that elimination and also I don’t see Wes retiring til after season 40 tbh
none of the vets actually retire when they say they do i feel like they just need a mental break away from the cameras and drama they alway return at some point

I agree. I always look forward to your recap.
Same!!
I enjoy eating my lunch watching Drew’s videos 😇 🎂
wait wes has a youtube channel
Surely cory would kick off sebastian before fessy
…Dan? you mean Chris? lol
U mean Chris btw. Nd Devin is little Wes. He is my new fave but if Wes leaves I will be so upset. Nd take awhile to be used to it
@@dontread12 Yes, Chris. For some reason, I keep forgetting his name. I've never been a big Devin fan although I liked him better the last time he was on. I think he's more like Johnny Bananas - always stirring up trouble. But he does like to strategize like Wes.
Made me think it was rigged 🤔
yes! this!
I didn’t take it as he’s winning it for his kid but wanting to win because it’ll be his last
He’s a staple in the game.
I teared up at the ending! I thought FOR SURE with the edit, Wes was going home.
I was sorta the same but I’m the trailer it showed Wes competition against someone else in elimination
The edit clowning on dustys suspicions was so funny. He was truly clueless!
This episode was really gooood, love getting 2 episodes a week going to suck when they stop
Dusty himself said on exit interviews that Wes was up there on the wheel for a while even though the edit made it look like he fell off fast. Any perception we may have or not about this elimination is entirely a direct result of editing
I didn’t know what to make of Wes’ soliloquy but if he really is teasing that this is his last season it’s really an end of an era
He's been teasing for a while now, even before he did (and then went on to win) All Stars. I think he truly loves the game so a part of him always wants to come back, but I think his real life responsibilities are real and he's genuinely at the point of fully prioritizing those.
I hate how you know who’s going into elimination by the story time they give the person in the beginning of the show…
Same
Editing at its finest.
Finally, a good challenge edit. It really felt obvious that Wes was going to lose. He even thought he lost and Banana goodbye speech
What does it say about our education system that no one knew that Shakespeare was English?? Really????

Stay safe this week brother, great recap here. I enjoyed this daily and like you said format with three teams was nice and felt fresh.
Definitely some funny business by production here
I think we also have to take into consideration that the show was telling us that Wes was going home.
Tori and Bananas crying for loyalty from Amanda and Cory, then basically it fighting for Wes is…on brand lol
@@ville666sora I’d expect them to fight for Wes the same way they attacked Amanda and Cory to do.
Wes deciding to leave the challenge for his kid while Corey had three and still comes on the challenge at any chance he’s given 😂😂😂
right?? when he was crying I was like lots of the people who keep coming back have multiple kids….they’re not a death sentence lol
Well in fairness to Corey, his occupation is reality TV star... just kidding. I dont think we can make fun of Corey for going on the Challenge whenever he can. Lots of People have gone to the Challenge with kids at home. Practically everyone on all-stars. Darrel does all stars and MTV. the way I cheered after TJ said Wes won. I knew he was gonna stir ish up and I'm sooo here for it
When you aren’t timing it yourself 37 seconds can feel like a lifetime but it really isn’t. I think wes won fair and square but they edited it to make it seem like Wes lost. There may have been people that thought wes won but they didn’t make the edit. I do think wes should have switched with Sebastian though. Keep Chris who is a more physical player on your team.
Except he really wanted to screw Green and Monte and Tyler don't like Chris.
I thought about that too but I feel like Chris can be a wild card when it comes to voting.
And Sebastian is loyal to tori so that benefits Wes

I’m confused, why are these episodes coming out so fast 😂😂
Anybody else ñoticed that the blue team platform wasnt tilted as much despite getting more qùèstions wrong??lol
how did they miss the editing mistake with Alyssa being on the blue team during the deliberations?
Something about the elimination was soo suspicious. I definitely feel like the producers made some suggestion to make Wes the winner.
I love Wes and I hope this won't be his last challenge. Bananas and Wes definitely have evolved in sooo many ways!
Maybe we can get a history recap of their evolution from enemies to frenemies because Bananas was really sweet to Wes this episode, and it came from a genuine place
And this eliminates the two people from “The Amazing Race” franchise. I don’t expect to see Dusty again, but I would love to see Luis come back a second time.
Cory was probably thinking it was shit we got 5 Great Lakes good enough
The biggest voting block and the biggest alliance is the ladies Secret Garden (Cassidy+Chanelle+Desi+Michaela+Michele). Will they be able to stay strong?
They'll eventually have to vote for each other. Im ready to see that ep lol
The men on the green team; Monte, Tyler and now Chris need to join their alliance or else they’ll all be targeted.
@@huntergreene9781 Survivor has been targeting Big Brother the entire season.
I've been waiting for thisssss!!!!

I am glad Wes is still in the game....I am rooting for thr Rookies....& Wes 😊

I basically would try to win as many daily challenges as possible because the green team is in shambles and the red team are going to implode at any moment plus it would basically keep her safe do you think that what she should do keep her safe Sarah because Cassidy really doesn't have any other choice but what do you think about that?🤔
I'm sad Wes won't be on for a while/never again. He's my all time favorite.
Wes will be back lol. He's just putting on an act for the camera. Wes regularly takes a couple seasons off here and there anyway so it's not like him taking a couple more off will be a big deal.
Now all Cory got to do is win a elimination and the MTV Vets will be together
I don't think Corey is really trying to work with the vets lol he was def in the convo about voting a man into the hopper to increase the chances of Wes going in. Now if he was SMART he would def try to get on the blue squad with the rest of them, but Corey hasn't always played the smartest soo...
Let’s put the skepticism hat on together because I literally yelled “WHAT” when TJ said that Wes won. Everyone was just way too thrown off for me. The Challenge is why I have trust issues.

We will see Wes again.
The most shocking thing of the episode was that 37 seconds were considered to be close...
Tiffany was giving main character energy this episode. I was shocked Wes won the elimination given the edit but I'm not mad about it! Sad all racers are gone though...
Completely agree with this comment 100% Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
That elimination was kind of sketch. How could everyone think Wes lost and then turns out he won, seems fishy.
Yeah I wish they had a timer screen or something because they could very much make up a made up time “it was only a 30 something second difference”
@alluviumed1654 it did look like dusty was slower on the 1st wheel though.
I was happy to see Wes stay!
I think after this season is over Wes might take a break but I hope he doesn't retire I would love to see him back some point down the line when ever he's ready to come back
I remember the beginning of this season the trailer break down that Wes was going to be in another elimination. But I was stocked when he win. I am happy he win.
I thought Wes would swap with Sebastian. Figured he’d wanna be on a team with Chris and Cassidy.
Sick shirt.
He stays loyal to his alliances IMO
how is it low hanging fruit when every time he comes on the season, he plays a very manipulative game? y’all are so blinded by his new nice guy persona that you forget what he has done or the way he plays.
how is it low hanging fruit when every time he comes on the season, he plays a very manipulative game? y’all are so blinded by his new nice guy persona that you forget what he has done or the way he plays.
Remember the jump over a big cylinder to roll up a rope? That was an epic elimination.
This was crazy 🤣🤣
Wes will be back for 40 especially if the prize is going to be higher
Wes's feelings are hurt because people trash him behind his back. Pot Kettle here.
Tiffany is from MI too btw
Yeah I would agree time perception could’ve been different if they have to reset the stuff up. But you neverrrrr know. But I think its interesting vets dont have to only replace another vet on a team.
When our vets decide to hang it up, I honestly don’t think I would have any reason to keep watching the challenge. Gonna miss them once they’re gone
Maybe one of the greatest things to do(haven’t watch the challenge live in ages..thanks streaming and dvr cause I skip the ads lol)
But regardless greatest Wes storyline in one episode.
But TJ said the premise was to knock off your opponent the quickest? Super confusing.
It was that first knot untie Wes did it quite a bit faster I think franticness of Dusty made him seem faster
They threw Wes a bone for sure but it’s a perk of being a legend and he was saying it’s his last season they didn’t want him to go out like that
I was confused at the end. Because I thought west lost but then he won it was just really confusing
Also, just saw a video with Luis where he said his elimination - disk wrestle with Chris - was actually best 2 out of 3 and he won the first round but they didn't show any of that making it look like a one and done which I thought was surprising.
suspension of disbelief at its best.
The answer to the Amendments question I thought was the worst, I understand maybe not knowing the answer. But, the Bill of Rights is the first 10 and to say there are only 13 seemed really dumb.
Dusty wasn't covered in wet sand when he did the knots and wheel, 100% there was a delay in time to clean him off and reset things.
I don't think anybody realized the rules of the game. It seems like everybody thought that since Dusty got Wes off the wheel so quickly after he started turning the wheel that Dusty won. But the time included the knot untying which is where it seems that Wes made up the time.
The editing of the episode fot me. I thought for sure Wes was gone.
I said this last week. The vets should have made a super team with all the vets. They would have been safer that way.
Bananas should have never sent cory to the red team.
Agreed
it was pretty good editing... I definitely thought Wes was going home. Glad he stayed and glad about the blue Vet super team... although, I don't think they win next week.
I still think Wes was rigged in tbh, how does everyone think dusty for sure won only for it to be Wes…they wanted to give vets a chance of winning by allowing Wes to switch to blue
@@alluviumed1654 nah. no way. That would make me so disappointed 😞 do you honestly think they would do that?
Im so sad dusty is gone , loved himmmm . But happy wes is bck in game i love the cassidy vs wes thing 😂😂
