I thought the exact same thing! Kisser always played Fender/Jackson/Charvel plus he is a riff machine! Absolute legend!
They took long to make a run of the Rob Cavestany Jacksons as well. Homie already had custom shops since the 90s made by Grover himself.

It's funny how these things go! Andreas was inspired by Randy Rhoads and picked up a Jackson, I was inspired to pick up the guitar seeing Andreas play his black RR1. Such a killer player who still keeps on pushing Sepultura forward musically after all these years.

He is pretty much the driving force of the band these days since none of the original founding members are left in the band. I have continued to stick by Sepultura long after Max left.

Andreas is one of the reasons i got into Jacksons in the early 90s. Happy he got his signature, that said hes been playing one with the tribal S artwork, all fans of Sepulture know and love that logo. Sees like a missed opportunity to not release that one instead of limiting it to a period.

Well done! I usually like to have bridge and neck pickups but Andreas is the soloist and he make the rhythms too so I was wondering where I would use the neck pickup so I understand him doing his role in Sepultura.

Adreas is famous to tune his guitars 2 to 2 1/2 steps down (drop C, B). Therefore, a neck pickup is totally unnecessary when you work on those extremely low frequencies.
I used to be nervous about guitars with a lone bridge pickup but not it's becoming more commonplace among metal guitarists. This is a very pretty guitar.
Big fan of the 1 pickup 1 volume config.
It surely took too long, Andreas is a legend, yet it's still nice to see such a legendary artist getting a signature model. Andreas impact on Metal and guitar playing is huge. The live in Barcelona video left me in awe, that white RR1 was Metal AF ! Cheers from Morocco

Recently started listening to them and I love them! My intro to them was territory and I love it and I’ve been listening to refuse/resist and it’s amazing. I happy for the guy but I will never be able to afford this
Amazing band. I saw Sepultura live when they first travelled to Chile in the 80s.

Great influential player. I am glad he got a signature but having this artwork dates the instrument to a very specific era. Without it it's a regular soloist with fancier hardware.
All signature guitars are cash grabs, in which you pay more than usual, because of the artwork, and the fact that a certain guitar player put its name on it. Then, it's a matter of taste. I personally like the artwork quite a lot, and doesn't bother me that is related to a specific era. But I wouldn't buy one. I'm a big fan of Kisser and Sepultura, so I'm happy for him.
@@HeathenDancenot really. I this one seems like it, I'm sure it's a fine guitar but nothing crazy vs I bought a Misha mansoor signature and the guitar has tons of great features for a good price which is why I bought it.

Guitar players. CERTAIN guitar players just make you want to pick up a guitar. For the 80's guy's it was Eddie Van Halen. You WANTED that red, black, and white striped guitar. James Hetfield makes you want to pick up an ESP Explorer (now commonly the Snake Bite), Dave Mustaine & Marty Friedman of Megadeth. The Jackson's. And Andreas Kisser of Sepultura. One thing about us metalheads, we NEVER TIRE of the music that lives in our blood. You eat it, sleep it, and fu$king walk it & talk it. If you don't, stop listening to the music. It isn't for you. That said, I've never met any headbangers that stop listening to the music. We're VERY LOYAL. And that's WHY it keeps going. And it will NEVER LET UP!!💯💯💯💪💪💪👊👊👊🤘🤘🤘
