Thanks Mark and Robert, what a lovely thing to say. We are heading off on a big trip starting next week. As always we hope to edit in a timely manner… but sometimes we are too busy enjoying what we see to stay home and edit all of the footage. Are you motorhomers? Best, Peg

@@pegandrobsgameforadventure I was a European truck driver for 25 years and worked for an Italian company so have seen quite a bit of Italy but mostly industrial estates. But we are now living full time in our motorhome and looking forward to really travelling around Italy.
@@bobyoung3606 it was our first time in Italy and it won’t be our last. We loved it. The public transport was fantastic and cheap. We avoided city centre driving (apart from Palermo) by choosing sostas with transport options. 😀

Another great video Peg and Rob, hope your both keeping well, the petrol here in Parksville is $1.59.9 for regular, some else mentioned I hope you got a receipt for the cash payment for the toll, always think it's dodgy when they ask for cash payment!
@@brummie0007 Hi A, It is good to hear from you. I hope you and S are all good. Not sure what he did with the cash payment, but we did have a bill that stated we needed to pay that amount and the Italian authorities have not been after us ….. so far 😀. Best, Peg
@@retro423 Thanks retro, we have no idea what he did with the toll money… but as yet we have not been chased by the Italian authorities. We appreciate your comments though. Best, Peg
I live in France and I never use the toll roads, but thank you to all those Brits that do because you pay to keep the other roads perfect 🙂 Plus any sign in France with a motorhome is illegal because they are classed as a car, only signs that restrict height, width and length are legal.
Thanks for your comments SlimTortoise. The roads in France are fabulous. Not sure if you are referring to the motorhome signs we mentioned on the Italian Riviera that were trying to warn us that the road was unsuitable for us. We love motorhoming in France. It is the most motorhome friendly out of the places we have visited. Best, Peg 😀
Hey you two just found this video and really liked it so will backcheck the others😅,i've been in France over 30 years now and love it ,i'd always come over nearly every year with me mum and dad(who was a frog) to visit the family who mostly lived in the Loire valley we never used the motorway here ,unless it was a free bit 😂even when we'd go to the med or Atlantic coast ,here your mobilehome would be classed as 3 while a car is 1 so you pay more,i i live in the Rhône valley an hour south of lyon 2hours from the sea so we get the motorwway to go down for a day out but not to Grenoble an hour east cause the price is expensive to use the motorway from here to Grenoble (différent company that looks after that motorway) parisians and notherners need to add a hefty bit more money on the motorway for the holidays on the med coast and don't forget petrol we never buy it on the motorway ,the coffee from KFC if you didn't ask for a "café longue"long coffee then its only a small expresso you get got any questions just as i'd gladly help out if i can
