    I watched your videos several times before installing the lift on a 2018 JK Rubicon Unlimited - it definitely helped! I wasn't able to get the bracket off of the front brake lines. The instructions shows using a vice grip to pull it off of the brake line but I was concerned I'd just end up damaging something. Any advice? Thanks!

    So I think you have the shocks upside down, and I believe you’re supposed to take the yellow bump stock out, screw the extension in to where the bump stop was, and then reinstall the the bump stop there.

    Is it necessary to do a 4 wheel alignment after installing this kit?

  • @ArtCFartC
    @ArtCFartC 3 года назад +1

    Got the back done today. I start the Booger-Bear tomorrow. Did you need wheel spacers? Shop I got a quote from prior to deciding to do it myself said I'd need 1.5" spacers. I'm keeping everything wheel-wise close to stock. My tires are a little over the stock size before the lift, but only slightly. That's just the way it was when I got my JKU.

    • @BubbasgarageTv
      @BubbasgarageTv  3 года назад +2

      Hi Matt, hope the install is going well. We did not use wheel spacers at all and everything is about perfect. Still planning to do some of the mods discussed in the install videos for this but nothing major at all. Keep us posted on your installation and thoughts for sure.

    Good morning. I had a fox 2.5 lift kit on my 2015 jku. It was great. I made a mistake to take it to the wrong mechanic probably 1 year later. He swapped my coils and few parts more…. I end up getting this lift kit aev witch turned up more expensive the the fox….. ride quality is 6 out of 10. Compared to the fox, it drives good but I feel every bump on the road and very disappointed. I got it done at the best jeep garage in NYC. They did a good job but it rides bad I have 35” tires at 320 psi. I may go back to fox or teraflex lift kit. My stearin is good I want to sale the it. I dropped 17k on the car and it rides like S#!T. I probably spent a lot less on a bmw. I wouldn’t recommend this lift kit to anyone

    • @BubbasgarageTv
      @BubbasgarageTv  2 года назад +1

      Interesting, that's a bunch for your feed back and honest review over time. I have to say I have been running this kit for a couple of years and have thousands of miles on it both on and off road towing and not towing I have to say I have been really pleased with it this far. Specially when towing. I would have to agree it's by no means a Cadillac ride that's for sure. A teraflex with fox shocks will ride much better. Guess it depends on your preference. Under load I have personally been really happy with this setup thus far.

      @@BubbasgarageTv Thank you for the fast reply! Agree, 2.5 seems like the right height for me as well. I got the same lift as you except for a 2 door JK.
