I would say you missed Vallée Bras du Nord (VBN) if you like green, blue trails. There is some in Shanahan sector but otherwise, there is also many in the city of st-raymond (still VBN). E47 and VBN are known to be more family/beginner friendly than SDM. Also, ALWAYS have your fingers (1 on each) on your brake levers, ready to brake!!! ;)
wow, SUPER well done little video. I probably follow the same mtb youtubers as you (who are super good)😅 but I loved the relaxation provided in the POV of the trails and the general approach. we have time to enjoy the trail lines... no beast mode, It's refreshing. More beginners will find themselves in miss. you have gained a new follower.
Great video! I so want to visit the mountain bike network around Quebec City. We've met a few times. We last spoke at the Full Cycle Christmas Party. Oh! I also bought a Norco Optice recently. Can't wait to get it on to more gnarly trails like the ones in your video soon.
Definately take the time to visit the trail networks here ! I live here and have been introducing lots of people to the sport from scratch and there is fun to be had for every level !
Awesome If you want to explore a bit farther east well actually a fair distance Sugarlaof Bike park is pretty great for an east cost adventure. Totally recommend for intermediate riders.
Hey curious about E47. Is there lots of climbing to get to green / blue trails. If we wanted to spend 3 hrs here would an ebike rental be recommended to save energy climbing?
I struggled to find the main climbing trail and it ended up being a ton of climbing to the “Mirador” trail. But, there might be another climbing trail to the other side of the park that’s smaller. A friend of mine recently went and they also found the climbing to be plentiful. They also struggled to find the climbing trail and ended up on the same service road as we did in our video. An e bike would definitely ease some of the cardio but, it might also be worth asking an employee for directions to the climbing trail because all we found was a service road that eventually led to a climbing trail.
So glad you loved our trail network, hope you’ll be back this year 🔥
We absolutely will! It was such a fun time!

Thanks for watching, and I think you’ll really enjoy this area! Enjoy the Optic! Emma and I are both riding one, they’re so great for our area.
Great video! Let me know next time you're around and I'll tell you all about the best routes. No more accidental "Baribal" ou "Reconstituée".
That would be super helpful! Thank you and we will!
This is inspiring and helpful. Thank you!

Thanks for the tip! It’s been a while since I’ve been to New Brunswick! Looks neat.
And if you have a few days, why not try also Mont St-Joseph and Station Pin rouge (both less than 1h drive from Sugarloaf, in Gaspesie). 😊
So rad!
nice video guys
Thank you!
Nice video !! Was this film recently ? condition look prime, May be going there in 3 weeks or so. Thank you!
It was filmed late September of last year! I think they’re just about to open for this year.
