One of the beautiful things about this video is they made sure that they showed great respect for the ladies.. all the butt shots were of them. Did you catch Tim eating the ham sandwich or how Rob is shielding his face from Tim’ spit?
Oh they’re nuts and we love them. They can make you laugh or cry but their music is always good. Yeah, Austin can be crazy but they all can. If you can you should listen to them with headphones….it really makes a difference. Try Understand, Die a Happy Man, It Looks Good.
Best mashup by HF is Thinking Out Loud/Let’s Get It On. Tims’s bass line of Let’s Get It On is sung the whole time during Thinking. Also background sings “Come on, come on” during “Thinking”. If you know Let’s Get It On - so many mashups!
I'm old too, so glad you didn't blame him LOL These guys are just too much....more songs to recommend....their cover of Die a Happy Man (Chance's 2nd video with Home Free), Try Everything (Chance's 1st video with Home Free) and I can't outrun you :)
It's hilarious watching you two 🤣! Yes, these guys make fun of themselves and surprise us all the time. You're never quite sure what they're gonna do; that's why I love watching their videos. So sad you're doggie had an accident, and you had to dress twice this morn. But it was a great reaction gals and I'm a new sub for more Home Free, please!
I love watching you two ladies, you make me laugh. I love home free, will watch anyone reacting to them. You two ladies are so much fun to watch. Scottish Home fry here. 👍👍🏴
Fun reaction ladies. To fully appreciate Home Free, headphones are highly recommended. FYI...Chris Rupp, founder of HF along with Adam, has videos on his channel, ChrisRuppOfficial, on the making of videos he was in (such as this one). The guy in the overalls is Rob's friend, Beugs. He also appears in the 'Honey, I'm Good' and 'Can't Stop the Feeling ' vids. He and Rob do a podcast 'The Avid Indoorsman.'
I love this song. They're still the best concert I've ever experienced IRL. They're amazing singers AND they're funny af. 🤣 (And been there, done that with the doggy problem 😆) 💜
"The mashed it all up..." That's what makes it a remix and not just a medley. They did change the Baby Got Back intro but none of the other music, other than mashing up songs, this includes Rob singing "wiggle, wiggle, wiggle" in Honky Tonk Badonkadonk which was a prelude to the upcoming Wiggle Wiggle song. What most people don't realize the first time watching is that while the original songs focused on women's derrieres, the boys focused on their own rears, never showing a female backside (well one girl got sideways, but they cut away before she could get all the way around).
The first time I heard this it was just after I listen to how great thou Art by home free!?! My first thought was who are these guys… I didn’t realize how silly this mashup was! Listen to their country fried pop medley… I love that one too!
Thanks for sharing this! Sorry you had a frustrating morning; if Todd would tolerate it, you might consider a paw washing station. If he won't voluntarily put paw to water, get door mats for him to walk on until he's clean. (Too bad he's not a puppy that would happily scamper over mats while chasing a toy.)
They guys are so goofy. I believe this was an April Fools gift for the Home Frys. Did you see Tim eating the ham sammitch and then head banging during Fat Bottomed Girls? I believe Layne from Voiceplay and Chris Rupp arranged this song.
This is such a fun mashup of songs. Very cleverly done from one song to another. The talent these guys have is phenomenal. They have so much fun but the vocals never suffer. And Adam's beatboxing is on another level. Home Free was very respectful in this video about not offending any women.
Austin did a lot of "guitar" sounds in several songs. At least I think that's what they were, very twangy and then zingazinga or whatever. What gets me is the headbanging Tim does, the only time I've ever seen him do it, in the background during Fat Bottomed Girls, just for a couple of seconds. I wish they'd caught that up close.
The guy in the overalls is Beuggs, Rob's friend, they do a podcast together called THE AVID INDOORSMAN. They didn't show women's butts to be respectful, that's why the guys were twerking.
For more nominations to make your day better, of course Listen to the Music, Ain’t Going Down Till The Sun Comes Up, Never Gonna Give You Up, Hillbilly Bone, All About That Bass.
What words did they change? Rob was great doing the rap. And Tim spitting on Rob beat boxing and eating that ham sandwich. They are so hilarious! Check out All About that Bass, Thinking out loud and Listen to the music
In an interview Chris Rupp (black cowboy hat) said this was his pet project. His sister (Tristin) had worked with a modeling agency and that's where most of the women were from. Since they didn't want to objectify the women, the only 'butts' are theirs. The man in the one shoulder cover-alls is "Beugs", a friend of Rob Lundquist's (glasses & beard) who co-hosts on Rob's channel "The Avid Indoorsman". BTW, the song is entirely acapella - there are no instruments played.
The best example of Adam's singing voice being clearly on display is near the end of Home Free's "Guilty Pleasures" videos. The "hilariously derailed" versions are even more fabulous for days when you might need a laugh break 🤣
You assumed correctly. Please do a reaction to their covers of 'Think A Little Less' and 'Die A Happy Man.' Few reactors do those for some reason and I don't know why as they are some of my favorite Home Free songs.
Now this gives you a little glimpse into how versatile Rob is. He can really bring in the funk when he wants to, and he just looks lime someone's dad. The guy in the black cowboy hat that sort of has a kittycat mouth, That is one of the founding members, Chris Rupp. Adam Rupp's brother. The neat thing is that the former members are all still involved even if just in jam sessions at one of the guys homes. As far as the basso profundo, Tim Foust goes, he has got a fantastic tenor voice. That seems to be common among super base guys, they all appear to be able to sing lower tenors as well. You might enjoy watching their version of Ring of Fire, which includes Avi Caplain who used to be the base for Pentatonix. I like that they are willing to Collab without all the drama of competitiveness. I used to go to the local drag races in Sacramento, CA. when I was a kid. This was back when people like Don Garlits, and Shirley Muldowney were the big names in top fuel drags. I was very impressed by the amount of cooperation that occurred in the sport. If one of them broke a critical part during a run, they could count on being able to borrow that part from the other team. I am just really impressed when two groups who are making their living in a certain area are willing to cooperate, and collaborate.
This is a fun song and it really shows their personalities (and their amazing talent). I would definitely recommend checking out their cover of the song Mayday. It not only has an awesome arrangement and harmonies, but you also get to hear a different vocal performance by Tim that highlights his incredible range.
I really enjoy watching you two react, especially to Home Free. I don't know if you noticed, but the guys chose not to objectify women in their video. Instead, they only displayed their own behinds, which just made the video all that funnier.
I love this remix arranged by Chris Rupp, Adams brother (the beatboxer). Rob and his whistling WOW…He was great! You are right about Austin, I laughed so hard lol .Everyone did such a good job! Great reactions 🎉 I love Home Free😊
Wow!! Love both of yall reaction...this my 3rd video ..I'm hook and subscribed...love the generation gap no pun attended...I'm old school..Blessings 🙏🙏 ...Keep it up....one of my new favorite channels..love it
They are truly amazing!! If y’all haven’t already, I would LOVE to see y’all react to one of their first mash ups they did! For some reason it doesn’t get reacted to very much! It’s called The Country Fried Pop Medley!! I know y’all will love it!!! 😉😁
Hey ladies I know you just started on Home Free. I think you would love to do reactions to Austin Brown's channel. Unchained Melody is amazing and Bring Him Home. Also him and Rob try singing Opera Nessum Dorma I think you will enjoy them. Also Tim has a channel check out his stuff he has a doo wop album Come Go With me is great Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/ Stay. You will not be disappointed and more rabbit hole to go through. Loving your reactions so far
Don't know if this is on your list but Home Free's cover of Johnny Cash's , "Ring Of Fire" is .....Fire! 🔥🔥🔥🤠 They feature Avi Kaplan, former bass singer for Pentatonix. Avi & Tim are great together!
I just discovered you through this video. I was going to subscribe, but then saw that your last reaction was five months ago. Then I saw Baby Gap’s post about why you’d been away and saying you will be back, so I subscribed. One favorite of mine that I didn’t see in any of your previous reactions is VoicePlay. They’ve been called the theater kids of a cappella. Since we’re coming up on the holidays, a fun one of theirs to start with would be Oogie Boogie’s Song from The Nightmare Before Christmas. Hope to see you soon!
I know it has been recommended before but if you really want to see their funny side further, I suggest the Tim Foust original song Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget. Also, Chris Rupp has a series of videos on the history of Home Free on his channel and talks with all of the main members of the group. There are 5 videos in all, I believe. Forgot to mention, but great reaction, ladies!
Saw this a few weeks ago. 😂🤣 They we’re really innovative in putting this together. Glad you reacted to it. Bless Todd. I’m sorry to hear of his age-related difficulties. He’s blessed to have you, MG. It was funny watching BG’s face as MG explained the situation.😄
Thank you Eric! We weren’t sure if it was appropriate to add that little bit of information. Lol 😅 I am sad for Todd, I just wish I didn’t live in a two story house. It makes it hard for both of us as he can’t walk up the stairs anymore. I have to carry him, which I don’t mind.
@@generationgapreacts My heart goes out to you. It’s tough when your beloved pet becomes elderly. Not inappropriate at all for you to share about that. It’s relatable. I see I made a typo that I made. I meant were, not we’re. I’m sure that was obvious.
If no one has suggested it yet, listen to Voice Play. Also an A cappella group but they do a lot of cosplay in their videos. BUT, Start with the Oggie Boggie song from Nightmare Before Christmas! Geoff Castellucci’s vocal range will make your heads explode like no other! He’s the human subwoofer!
This is such a fun and smart mash-up! I've been listening to these guys since 2013 and I still forget (at times) there are no instruments. They're just that good. Thanks ladies - thoroughly enjoyed your reaction. 😆🍟
Such goofballs. But the music never suffers. Chris Rupp has a video on his channel where he walks through the making of the video. Totally worth a look.
If you would like to try another very talented acappella group, try Voice Play. They are different from Home Free in that they are more theatrical and less country (but they still have a few country songs). I would recommend The Oogie Boogie Song, a cover from the movie, The Nightmare Before Christmas. One of their best IMO.
@@generationgapreacts That's honestly ALL I can think of when I see similar buns - either from the peak of their music career or from the movie lol! I'm not knocking them though...I wear them all the time!!! 😋
Enjoying your reactions. I have some HF suggestions for you: for some Adam Chance leads(his voice is warm and velvety)”I Can’t Outrun You “, 5 part harmony,Chance directed the video, and it’s hauntingly beautiful. “Cover Me Up”- it will hit you in your heart. “Some Girls Do”. There are more, but now I’ll move to Rob- “End of the Road “- Rob’s soulful self is evident, and shows you why he’s called Gospel Rob. “Dreamer”, but PLEASE do the original album version. Chance’s harmony with Rob is more pronounced than the later version they did with Texas Hill. Not that that version isn’t good, it’s just different. For more 5 part harmony “Helplessly Hoping “. For some humor “Champagne Taste (on a beer budget). Tim lead, and he wrote the song. I guess that’s enough for now!
🤘🤣🤘🏠🍟 get some headphones 🎧 ladies 😘 you're missing out
Seconded.
I’m going to add Hillbilly Bone to the list! Another one that makes it hard to sit still.
Another up tempo fun Home Free creation, "Can't Stop The Feeling".
You ladies really need headphones. You won't believe the difference!
I've watched this video and numerous reactions to it and laughed every time.
It’s a great funny song. Definitely put’s you in a great mood! 😅
I've never seen a group like them. They are AMAZING
You should watch the drum solo,it will blow you away.❤

I love how they didn't insult women by making fun of their own butts. Not showing women's butts
I agree, it’s just a funny happy song! 😊
Y’all need to check out their 9 to 5 live version with beatboxing breakdown!! Prepare to be blown away!
Best mashup by HF is Thinking Out Loud/Let’s Get It On. Tims’s bass line of Let’s Get It On is sung the whole time during Thinking. Also background sings “Come on, come on” during “Thinking”. If you know Let’s Get It On - so many mashups!
Watching mom jamming to this song was priceless!!!

Absolutely!!
That’s Austin’s musical theater degree being put to great use! ❤️
I'm old too, so glad you didn't blame him LOL These guys are just too much....more songs to recommend....their cover of Die a Happy Man (Chance's 2nd video with Home Free), Try Everything (Chance's 1st video with Home Free) and I can't outrun you :)

Here's Chris Rupps video: Butts Medley by Home Free (Chris Rupp - REACTION & CRITIQUE) ruclips.net/video/zqLeU9k1PMo/видео.html
Layne Style, VP's beatboxer did most of the arrangement with help from Chris.
Not rue if they were all still touring together at the time.
The talent is unreal
Now you gotta react to "Country Fried Pop"
That was going to be my recommendation too, that one always makes me smile too. 😁❤️🍟
Ya'll are beautiful even if you had to tread through the doo doo 😅 Great reaction!
Did you notice that the ham sandwich (2:37) is being eaten by Tim a second later? LOL!
I never get tired of watching reactors listening to this. Especially after the last one they listened to was How Great Thou Art....🤭
I love this song. They're still the best concert I've ever experienced IRL. They're amazing singers AND they're funny af. 🤣

Hope you enjoyed Adam singing the beginning of the Thong song. It isn't often you get him singing any lead. Thanks for a great reaction.
I love it!

Although Adam does have a beautiful tenor voice when he does sing, he is not singing in this song.
