Can you do a "Shorty Jam" of you playing with this track please? I always learn a lot more watching you for 30-45 seconds than me trying to figure it out on my own. What a coincidence. I just listened to a few backing tracks of this Grateful Dead song to jam on in the near future. Nice one Renzo!! I don't have to search further! I surely will give this a few runs. (But first the temperatures here have to be at least 10 degrees lower...)
I have never been a fan of the dead. This is becoming my favourite jam track. Might be part of the the fact I have to do do a little “smoking” for a pain issue but whatever. All the best.
@@nowyoushred I was always more into Zeppelin, Floyd, etc. but over the last 10 years the Dead have become my favorite band. Jerry wasn't in your face or showy at all so it was easy for people to underestimate his brilliance. Now I realize there's an understated brilliance to his playing and writing and with the improv you have hundreds of versions of their great songs to listen to. It took me a while to really get into the Dead, but now that I've put in the time they are amazing. I'd love to hear your version of Franklin's Tower and Eyes of the World.

For 30 years I've just played the minor pentatonic blue scale (I just jam by myself). Could never really get into other scales. With this backing track & staring at a "B Mixolydian" scale (2 octaves only...lol), dare I say that I'm playing something different and cool. What a great surprise! Thanks for the track and info!
