I don’t understand why people don’t think the Bears can make a qb work. Obviously, history isn’t favorable, but it wasn’t favorable for the Lions to make the playoffs for decades. But guess what, it took one great head coach hire, and everything flipped. For the first time since 1947, the Bears have the first pick in the draft. They have pretty much always picked qb later on down the first round board.
It's the same reason no one believes the cowboys can make it any further than the divisional round the bears have shown nothing to give them the benefit of the doubt the bears aren't a good team and just because the have names that you know doesn't make this a good team let's not act like we would give any other team the benefit of the doubt with the track record they have shown throughout they whole existence 🤷🏾♂️💯

There’s no reason to believe that the Bears can’t be successful with the first pick in the draft because it hasn’t happened since 1947. I understand that history repeats itself, but you can literally use the lions as an argument against your cowboys take. Not saying the Bears are phenomenal, but you can’t say they aren’t tremendously better on paper than last year

@@evileyevalaus the had the best defense in football the last stretch of the regular season and haven’t lost anyone. The names the added are not just names that people know because they suck, they are known because they are good. Kennan Allen is an improvement. So is Deandre Swift. If the Lions take is bad, then the Cowboys not making it past the divisional round is quite literally the same thing. They have made it past the divisional round multiple times
I was having my doubts that Ryan Poles could develop a QB. During his tenure he showed no signs he knew or even cared to. But suddenly you get a different vibe. He seems to now know getting great receivers helps a lot and that the offensive line matters and that an experienced and well regarded Offensive Coordinator who is flexible and has developed other young pro QBs helps. There are even rumblings he might try to get a real left tackle in the draft. It's frankly amazing how Ryan Poles suddenly seems like he cares about the offense
Wait a sec. Every time they talk about getting rid of Dak, some people say "Well, if Dak isn't there, who's going to be the quarterback?" As if Dak is the only qb on the planet now.

They said the same about Romo... why? The Cowboys are not very good at finding QBs. Jerry wanted to draft Paxton Lynch.... Manzel... they actually targeted Stephen Mcgee and drafted him. Dak is not great but he is the best QB Jerry has drafted since 1989😊
Kirk Goldchains is a quarterback whose record is just above 500. And he’s had some great receivers. I agree that Dak should follow Kirk’s path.
This 'win or fired' situation theyre talking about is media generated. Flus first year was a tank year, last year was his first true year and amongst all the turmoil, the QB drama, this team started to develop an identity. FFS, this guy got 2 wins with some dude named Tyson Bagent starting 😂

These experts highly touted Bryce Young last year and we all know what happened. Caleb will probably go 7-10 at best if the defense can improve.

@GoatedAtNFS no, but those quarterbacks came into much better situations on offense. I'm not saying Caleb Williams can't be great, but the quarterback position is much different from all others and if possible he should have an opportunity to observe before getting throw into the fire.
