Im so happy to have EVERGLOW back. But to be honest I'm still angry with their agency YUEHUA. Not only did they make MIA cut her hair regardless of the fact mia wasn't comfortable cutting it. But they dropped the MV TWO HOURS LATE! I really hope they start treating these girls like the superstars they are, they deserve all the love and respect the world has to offer. I hope we get more consistent comebacks for them as well, its more than deserved..

They should resign with YG. That would put the 3 greatest girl groups on Earth under the same label: Blackpink, BabyMons7er, & Everglow. Also, YG knows how to promote their female artists . They should be as successful as Blackpink right now and with the YG marketing they would be. Also their girl crush style, gorgeousness, sweet / badass, style of music, and style of MVs are right up YG style.
I'm glad they sticked with their sound and not go with the trend nowadays in 4th gen. Ngl those y2k vibes had its time but I think it's time for something different. The music along with the mv reminds me of 2nd or 3rd gen music which is a win for me (got into kpop in near end 2nd gen into 3rd gen). If noise music is what they are making then I'm proud of myself for liking noise music.

I'm not sure if this is a good or bad thing, but SLAY sounds like it could be a song they've already made. Like it's so EVERGLOW that it sounds like... EVERGLOW, you know? The reason I think this could be a bad thing is because the industry has sort of moved on from similar like music, so perhaps people might reject this. (I hope not) I think there are enough people are excited for EVERGLOW's return that maybe people won't sleep on this, so we'll have to wait and see. They have stiff competition now with some big hitters like aespa and Jihyo coming out at the same time, but a big return like this might give them an edge. Like I said, we'll have see what happens as time goes on. For my personal opinion, I'm just glad our girls are officially back, and it's not another goddamn dance cover. I think Yuehua were so enamored with Yena they forgot EVERGLOW existed. I know it's not true, but it almost felt like they decided to let EVERGLOW go after the Hate Rodrigo disaster blew up in their faces. They sent Yena to Japan and was like "Mia, get a hair cut and get on stage." Like I said, that's complete speculation.
