    I was looking forward to this video. Makes me want to go back and visit. The hospitality and culture in Egypt is second to none.
    Make sure to visit the Bourg. Not sure how to say it in English. But it's the biggest tower in Egypt. You can see all of Egypt from that tower it's beautiful. There's also a rotating restaurant at the top inside.
    Have fun!

Egypt is such a great place and the people there are so genuine and fun! i think it's really important to travel around and meet people from different backgrounds and cultures so that we are always growing as individuals and expanding our horizons. A suggestion whilst you're there is that you should try their sugarcane juice. its so addicting!

    • @EnricoIncarnati
      @EnricoIncarnati 7 лет назад +4

      Glad you asked! Normally you can use a mixture of ingredients! You can have a rice ball with all rice no meat and potatoes are substituted for the meat and typically mixed veggies like carrots, corn, peas etc. My family typically makes one with meat which is either ground beef or turkey for the meat one and for the potato its white potatoes. It is also served with marinara sauce in America but my family here in the U.S. and in Italy we use meat sauce which is also our pasta sauce!

    tip from an Egyptian.
    do everything in your power to not cross the street and if you do wait untill the next car is at least 1000 kilometers away cause we got no traffic lights in most places here it's the fucking stone age here like i broke my shoulder trying to cross the street. shits like playing frogger my man but if you die in game you die in real life. like in other countries your dangerous sports are mountain climbing and sky diving but in Egypt we just call each other and go out start crossing street untill one of us gets a concussion. fun times.
    also when departing i recommend not putting anything that's easily breakable in your luggage (motherfuckers broke my guitar) failing that take proper precautions.

    Jeff - just a word of warning, any electronics larger than a cellphone are now banned from several middle eastern countries (Including Egypt) into the US. So your best bet is to pack laptop, tablets,etc. in your luggage and check it in. Otherwise prepare to go through a long tedious screening by customs on your way back. Just a word of warning as my coworker spent a couple hours JUST going through customs(he had a laptop, iPad, Camera) on his leg back from the middle east.
    Please thumbs up so he can see.

    • @JeffNippard
      @JeffNippard  7 лет назад +42

      Thanks for the heads up. I read into this more and it appears only airlines that offer direct flights from Egypt to the USA are affected by the ban. Our return flight has us connecting in France via Air France, so I don't think it will apply.
      "The airports affected by the electronics rules are served by nine airlines that fly *directly from those cities to the United States* about 50 times a day, senior government officials said.
      The carriers - Royal Jordanian Airlines, Egypt Air, Turkish Airlines, Saudi Arabian Airlines, Kuwait Airways , Royal Air Maroc, Qatar Airways, Emirates and Etihad Airways - have until Friday to comply with the new policy, which took effect early on Tuesday and will be in place indefinitely."
      Taken from: www.cnbc.com/2017/03/21/us-bans-large-electronics-from-10-airports-mainly-in-middle-east.html

    What do u do for ur skin? It looks perfect

    • @Lars16
      @Lars16 7 лет назад +2

      People always jump to conclusion and think it is because of certain skin products etc. Because that industry has marketed it so heavily, so everybody will associate clean skin with the use of products.
      Clean skin can often be contributed to few simple efforts like: 1. Making sure you are hydrated, and 2. Avoiding pre-processed food in your diet.
      1. General hydration, drinking water enough water for your body, not other things like coffee or soda those have the opposite effect. Will clear up some/all imperfections in your skin. It also gives you more energy, you become less tired, you train better etc.
      2. Processed food has a lot of bad stuff in it, so cooking your own meals, buying organic and all that stuff helps. It is not the sole factor of having imperfect skin, but every small bit helps, right? I haven't really buy'd into the whole organic food is better, but there are studies that show its benefits.
      I'm not saying these things are the sole reason for imperfect skin, a lot of it has to do with genetics and puberty as well. But those are some really simple efforts that you can easily apply to your daily life and have more clearer skin.
      I wouldn't mind finding some of the research articles that I've read on this, but I can't guarantee if they will be available to you for free to view, if you don't have an access.

    It's not a second toilet, it's a "bidet",a "cleaning" spot if you will...you could wash your feet there too, but you get it...these are really common around the Mediterranean, from Italy and Greece to Turkey, Egypt etc.
    I had one in my previous home, I am missing it on my new "modern" house.
