  • By 2050, around 100,000 passenger drones are expected to fly in 100 cities across the world. We visited Prof. Florian Holzapfel from the Technical University of Munich, where a flight control system for passenger drones is being developed. Also, we talked to Ralph Hollmig from Italdesign about how existing business models change due to the shift towards electric propulsion. Our Partner Manfred Hader explains how urban air mobility might benefit society as a whole and Dr. Stephan Baur, Project Manager at Roland Berger, gives an outlook on drone production for the mass market shared by both aerospace and automotive companies.
