I'm actually really enjoying hydrating sunscreens. I was terrible with sunscreen diligence and have found that I can literally swap my morning moisturizer for sunscreen and suddenly I'm wearing it every day. And my skin is still hydrated.

If so, I meant a bit in answer to the one mentioned in the video where James says he doesnt personally care much about what else the sunscreen does other than protection, so that one could be a possibility. I use the la roche age correct as a moisturising sunscreen. It's not as lightweight as the ultra one but as I skip the moisturizer, it works well for me! I also haven't thrown out my old purito (the scandalous one) and use it when I just plan to be indoors and dont require super strong protection. It's quite moisturising if you have oilier skin like me! If I misunderstood the question, sorry!

I have always had sensitive dry flaky aging skin with a LOT of redness and itching and uncomfortableness in general. My skin is amazing now, better at 50 than it had literally ever been, my skin barrier is so healthy.
Too Cool for School mellow egg cream smells so good to me. I got a sample once and kept trying to smell it ever since. I just can't bring myself to buy the full size 😩

The propolis lip sleeping mask is so good! I have a bad habit of licking, biting, picking at my lips when they are dry and chapped. But, after one use of that lip mask I woke up with soft, smooth lips. I can’t remember the last time my lips have felt like that.
The P.I.T. Cleanser became my fave which I snapped up after your previous recommendation vid. It took an age to arrive, cost me an arm & a leg but boy was it worth it,...my 'problematic' skin has never looked so good after using this cleanser 👍 Hope they haven't altered the formula too much as I need to repurchase soon.
Discovered Rosen last year when I was looking to buy from more black owned brands and I love it.. tried a few products and will try the super smoothie cleanser next

Tarte rose lip butter or whatever it's called was recommended to me as having lactic acid in it. Idk if it does or if it's in any real amount, but I do see that when I use this every night as a lip mask my lips feel perfect and I don't need to scrub them. When I miss a few nights I can really see and feel the difference. It's 12 bucks which feels like a lot but I use so little and I don't really reapply because I to to bed right after. It's lasted a few months. No plumping or spicy vibes!

Could you recommend a good affordable skin cleanser, skin exfoliate, toner, serum, moisturizer for combo, aging skin? I have fine lines and wrinkles, pores specially on my nose and the area above my top lip. Also a good lip scrub and lip mask. I have tried so much and spent hundreds of dollars and I'm at a loss. I know there is no miracle cream that makes wrinkles just go away, I just would like to keep them from getting any worse to fast and for my aging skin to look as healthy as possible.

ohhh i loveeee troiareuke, i have been using their products for a while thanks to a youtuber in korea. Is not cheap but when you get your hands on products from the brand it feels bad because they are so good for my skin but my bank cries xD. And at the moment i am actually using the sunscreen.

Cerave hydrating cleanser is a great cleanser for dry and sensitive skin. My daughter uses it too and suffers badly with eczema and its good for her. It's got ceramides in so is good for the skin barrier and doesn't feel stripping afterwards. It's drugstore and a good price. Always cleanse for at least 60 seconds. If your skin is dry, best tip ever is apply moisturiser onto DAMP skin. That's what my daughters dermatologist advises too to deal with her eczema. Start simple, cleanser, moisturiser and sunscreen. When you learn more you can add in extras like toners, serums etc. Just worry about finding a good cleanser, moisturiser and SPF first that suits you. Good luck.

The Cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence is fantastic 🌟🐌 I use it after I've patted my face with some thermal water spray = a very inexpensive solution to overpriced toners.
I really really love Laneige Cream Skin as a toner, it gives such a nice look to my skin as well. For a thicker one, Huxleys Essence Like Oil is so luxurious and affordable when you get it on sale

Hey! It depends on the products but a minimum of 4 weeks tested alongside a pretty basic routine of products I know my skin tolerates well ☺️ probably not foolproof but works for me ☺️

I love the Trioareuke acsen pore cleansing mask. A clay mask that helps clear skin that doesn’t dry out, doesn’t make my skin feel dry after.

For me, they’re never quite enough. They’re too gentle and don’t really give me results. My skin sucks and I need the good stuff.

I actually use a lot of kbeauty because of my sometime problematic skin. Exfoliants for example tend to be gentler so they don’t bother my rosacea!

It's got ceramides in so is good for the skin barrier and doesn't feel stripping afterwards. It's drugstore and a good price. Always cleanse for at least 60 seconds.
If your skin is dry, best tip ever is apply moisturiser onto DAMP skin. That's what my daughters dermatologist advises too to deal with her eczema.
Start simple, cleanser, moisturiser and sunscreen. When you learn more you can add in extras like toners, serums etc. Just worry about finding a good cleanser, moisturiser and SPF first that suits you. Good luck.

Can anyone recommend a hydrating toner or serum (whether or not James has mentioned it before)? I have combo skin, oily t-zone, and my skin is really resilient, it just seems parched in some weird spots!!
The Cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence is fantastic 🌟🐌 I use it after I've patted my face with some thermal water spray = a very inexpensive solution to overpriced toners.
Purito Centella Toner (the fragrance free one). It’s hydrating and calming. I use Differin and haven’t had any issues with it
I really really love Laneige Cream Skin as a toner, it gives such a nice look to my skin as well. For a thicker one, Huxleys Essence Like Oil is so luxurious and affordable when you get it on sale
James raves about the Glow Recipe Watermelon toner. I personally haven’t tried it but it is on my to buy list on my next trip to sephora

Hey! It depends on the products but a minimum of 4 weeks tested alongside a pretty basic routine of products I know my skin tolerates well ☺️ probably not foolproof but works for me ☺️

I recently tried a bunch of revolution skincare and I found it pretty awful. Some of the products I'll use but not buy again, but others aren't even worthy for my feet.
