I have a 97 Z28/SS 6speed. I'm doing C6 Z06 18x9(fronts) 19x10(rears) then ZL1 Brakes, Qa1 double adj. Coil overs. Then a LS3 Swap..I'll change the whole suspension in between the coil overs and LS3-Subframe, Panhard, A-arms, control, torque, etc...
looks great , that shop seemed awesome too , they did great work . Im curious about that bracket , how did baer drop the ball or is something on backwards?
My eBrake line is stretched a little bit but they also told me they do have an option to use the factory rear backing plate to use the stock eBrake line.
Looks good dude! I am about to order mine and now you have me wondering about that bracket. I am waiting to here how much better they are compared to factory once you get them broke in.
Yeah I’ve contacted Baer and they said the bracket should be bolted with both bolts. It’s possible that my eBrake cable may have been stretched from a previous owner. So I may measure it and order a shorter brake cable.
If I didn't do the cts-v swap, I would have gone with these or wilwoods but I will be ordering up a pair of X-Tracker Hubs from Detroit Speed Works to fight bearing failure and prevent 90% of the brake pad knockback that you can get from 4 and 6 piston brake calipers. Oh yeah I am using Baer Eradispeed + 2 piece rotors for my CTS-V Brake Swap up front (C6 Z06 Eradispeed Rotors) and luckily Baer makes a 13 inch Brake rotor upgrade for the 93-97 Camaro's rear Disc Brakes which is mostly a looks upgrade but since there rear brake rotor kit for the 93-97 Camaro's and Firebirds, the kits brake caliper mount moves the caliper outwards which provides more brake torque so it does help out in braking also while helping to fight off heat build up. At least for awhile before you have to do a cool down lap.
What's up Chad - Did you ever make a correction to the e-brake bracket? What did Baer say about cutting a space in the bracket so that the cable would fit through? I'm in the middle of my install now.
It was told to me that they corrected the issue and new orders wouldn’t have the issue. My friend ordered a set about a month ago and we were gonna test his to see if it’s true. Are you having the issue?
Have you ever had a low circuit code? Or have you deleted anything in the motor? I think my alternator is going bad I got my gauges flashing a little. I heard on these f body’s the power steering leaks and messes with the alternator? I was curious if you ever messed with any of that. Thanks nice ride btw.
Any idea if the 6 piston option clears the factory 17 inch front wheels on the 98-02 Fbody? According to Baer's they should be figured I'd ask if u installed on the factory wheel?

Yeah we think my ebrake line is stretched. So I left it alone. I’ve got an auto and I don’t use the ebrake much. A manual car would need to address it much sooner
Got a 96 with baer 13" front, stock rear, drilled & slotted eradispeed rotors. Thinking I'd like to upgrade to same system as yours, NICE!!!

I'll tell you what these Eradispeed+ Rotors are tough as nails and refuses to wear out. Whatever steel/iron that Baer uses is top notch in quality.

@@NoChillChad I am! They didn't correct a thing. I've had my kit here for about two months and I am just getting to the install.

I’ve heard the same about the power steering leaks but I have not experienced anything of that nature.

It does clear the factory 17” wheels. That was the main reason I didn’t go with CTSV calipers. Just in case I wanted to put my stocks back on.
