Great video and crossing! I wonder if why they haven't tried to add gates here yet is due to being on a one-lane road, so converting it to an AOCL+B or ABCL ain't exactly going to be worthwhile and upgrading it to MCB is probably more than Network Rail wants to spend on a relatively minor crossing.
Thank you! I've never known why it was de-scoped from that project to convert ungated crossings to AOCL+B's. I think there may be potentially plans to rid it all together should the line reopen to passenger traffic in the future.
