Using destruction physics for buildings, vehicles, land and people, and tallying the amount of damage Supes causes when fighting or saving someone would be a great meter for a superman game.

Felt more like I was fighting in a china shop and a avoiding breaking all the stuff and paying for it. Wanna be cool and throw a car? Oooo you hit a building and your bar went down a decent chunk and now you're fired from being superman... Lol

The flying is amazing
if you arent going to have the cape collide with the body. at least add a single capsule collider or something on the body for the cape to collide with.
I'm a month late, but the map is going to be released around January when the game is supposed to come out.
a capeless suit could work too, though it would have to be an original design that looks good without a cape.
Imagining this with the walls on forts from just cause 3, or the Teardown/Red faction destruction system. Imagine using his heatvision and just cutting tails off helicopters, cutting tanks cannons off, slicing a door into a wall and walking through or smashing through. One day a full AAA game will happen for superman and i will have nothing else to dream about or wish for on my bdays but by then I fear I'll be an old man and my hands won't work to play
They should start make the city map for this
Need a counter/recovery system when he gets knocked back by those Mechs where he digs is fist into the ground to not get pushed back. Kinda like in some games when you get knocked back or down you can press the block or evade button just at the right time to recover almost instantly and it always looks so cool in my opinion.

Take this but put in engaging boss fights and give super man a wheel of OP special moves/abilities (similar to Insomniacs spider man games) with no cool down so the player can spam it capturing the sheer power of super man and you'd have a great game.
For a Superman game to be epic, it must have Superman explore the galaxy and confront god-like enemies to really challenge him.

if we get anything like a superman game, i feel like the character should have strength more similar to omni-man and not superman. just to keep the scale of the game to one planet. i think it’d be just as fun
@@ohnojojo19 A Superman game should be an open-world game that explores only the characters and locations of the Superman universe. So no JLA members, like Batman or Wonder Woman, or the Justice League Watchtower and Gotham City.
@@ohnojojo19 Second, a Superman game should have the villains of the Superman universe fight each other and have the player choose, in some instances, who to fight alongside: General Zod vs. Brainiac, Imperiex vs. Mongul, Lex Luthor and Metallo vs. Darkseid.

It's a good concept piece it's just not fully fleshed out the lasers should lock on to the enemies
and there should also be a stamina bar for heat vision and for freeze breath that you can upgrade in a skilled tree to give the player a sense of progression
At the moment, this looks more like Homelander's Assault: The Game rather than a Superman one. The outfit is a lot more like Homelander's, considering the lack of an S-shield and the gloves, and this one is just a lot more brutal than Superman is generally depicted in games. Still, this is top notch work. Shame you'll never be able to release any of your games, considering WB will just order a cease and desist like they did with the Crisis on Earth One: Arrowverse Fan-made game.

Looks like that old unity engine based Dragon Ball fan made game on it's core standpoint just different theme. Not necessary bad, but overall very shallow. There is ofc always room for the improvement.

I was hoping you'd punch the walking machines but I guess you can't. I was also hoping those walking machines can hit you and send you flying through a building
