I also do, but I like the concept more with just the No clipping part to mirrors of forgotten places on earth. Because you’re indeed alone, but feel like being watched. That is the terror I’m looking for. And the aesthetics are very dreamy ofc.

I stopped in my tracks when I saw that you uploaded a BACKROOMS song three hours ago. This is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. It captures the mystery and helplessness you feel in the backrooms, and it sounds almost alien-like. This is absolutely brilliant Myuu, you never fail to impress.

So, I've been running a Backrooms D&D Campaign and... this, right here, is what I'd use for both an intro and outro to the sessions; cause this is amazing.

If I had to describe this in one word it would be “otherworldly”.
The backrooms were better without a monster. It’s more terrifying to think about being trapped alone in an endless maze of repeating rooms, losing yourself in the same ageing yellow walls. There never needed to be an imminent threat for it to scare me; just the thought of being transported there out of nowhere, being stuck in an infinite and empty place, nothing to eat or drink or do but scratch on the walls and floor, not knowing to what I’ll die of first: starvation or insanity. We kinda lost that eerie, empty vibe that made it so interesting when a monster got put in.
Absolutely loving this one! You are so underrated, I can imagine this being used in something big, like Stranger Things trailer o something of that kind. Keep it up, you are great!

This song is absolutely great, probably one of the best songs I’ve heard by you. And I love the drums in this too, and the dark synths are so cool. Also 2:05 reminds me of The Double theme by Andrew Hewitt, which is one of my favorite scores ever, so great job.

I personally never saw the appeal of the backrooms all that much. Then the opening notes of this piece played, and my brain was like, "MYST! THIS SOUNDS LIKE MYST AMBIANCE!" I have ALL the nostalgia for Myst, and now that I think about it, I can see the similarities in vibe between that and the backrooms. It was kind of an "oh, I get it!" moment, so thank you for that, Myuu!
That being the case, when the music started building up and other instruments started coming in and it got really intense, it weirdly kinda…took me out of it a little. My brain was so hung up on remembering Myst, it heard that and was like, "Wait, this isn't Myst ambiance, all the subtlety's gone! >:( " and I felt like an angry little baby whose milk wasn't warm enough. Not to say the music was bad, on the contrary! I personally just would have liked it more if it had stayed subtle because I was lost in my nostalgia, and that's a me problem. V_V
Also…I can't be the only one who heard the backing music for Linkin Park's "In The End" in the main melody of this piece, right? It's not just me?
