Good morning, Mamas! ☕️ I hope you enjoy today's video! It feels SO good to be back! When is/was your last day of school for the year, or are you a year-round homeschooler? ❤
Hi friend!!! Love seeing your videos pop up!!! Would you maybe consider doing a video on your journey to homeschool? Were your older kids in public school and you pulled them? And why? Would LOVE to hear!! Just love you girl!❤
So missed you and your sweet family! Jack totally stole this show 😂 We're wrapping up our 3rd year! My daughter is finishing up 4th grade, also got a 2 year old and 1 year old. Hope you have a happy summer break!
Welcome back! You've been missed here but I figured you were just taking some time in your journey :) It is so good to see you back here though. Your family is just beautiful and you are always so authentic and real in these videos. Enjoy your summer!
Happy summer!!!!! Looks like a successful year! Missed you and am glad to see y'all back! Also yay for the teen years with the primary years, it's a ride 🤪. You're doing great mama? Your teens down to your baby!!!!
Welcome back! 🥳 I'm homeschooling 3 half days a week this summer since my kiddos are still in the learning how to read phase. Our "last day" of full days was 6/9.
We ended on June 2nd. 😊 My daughter is similar in wanting to use curriculum that is independent of me teaching her. It works out great this coming year because we’re having a new baby in a few weeks, so the Fall will be busy having a newborn and a toddler. I’m sure you relate with that! 😂
This may be a dumb question but I noticed your children weren't finished with the curriculum. Like TGATB Language Arts 3 you were on lesson 96 or 120 lessons. But the video says it's your last day? Do you guys break it up differently?
Hi!! My daughter Maddie took a break in Level K when she was in Kindergarten, so we have been a bit behind in levels since. She is going to be catching up to Level 4 this summer though! My oldest 2 still have a handful of Saxon lessons, and because I want my incoming 6th grader to be able to skip the first 30 lessons of the next book, I'm having them finish that up this summer as well. So technically we aren't "done" done, but rather finished with the structure of a whole school day for the year 😊 Once they finish up those last bits of curriculum, they won't have any school for a good month or so!
Ohhh okay! We're still 15 lessons away from finishing our year too but I'm having them go really slow and only do a couple a week to stretch it out until August when I can purchase the new curriculum. I don’t know about your kids but mine do better when they don't get a full on summer break. They thrive better when they have some sort of schoolwork to complete, even if it's just a page or 2! Haha

We are thinking of doing all year round homeschooling just due to the season of life we are in❤
We will end in 2 weeks and start back after Labor Day! 10 weeks off!
@Life with Gina B Sometimes it is just the most flexible! So thankful we have that choice!! 💕

How do you like the 180 days Social Studies?
It was just okay! Nothing super impressive!

@@amandakimberly4995 There are definitely benefits to having some schoolwork all summer - no summer slip!
What do you use for science
How long does Saxon 5/4 take a day?
It takes about 30-45 mins total for my kiddos!
@@OneBlessedMess Thank you does that include the time with Nicole the Math Lady?
@@jennythomas3985 Yes, I would say her lessons take ~15 mins or so 😊
@@OneBlessedMess thank you I am trying to figure out my schedule for next year and this is very helpful. I really appreciate it.
glad to have you back!
Thank you!! 💕
