I think this was an interesting set for a number of reasons. You can tell early on that Marcie wants to use the classic Jack-O 'long as hell blockstring to chip you to death strategy', but Leffen quickly proved too eager to DP out and interrupt their fun. So, instead Marcie shifted strategy to keeping Leffen at arm's length. This resulted in Leffen making some key mistakes on approach and allowed Marcie to come out on top in a slow and steady way. I think the thing which may have tilted the scales in Leffen's favor for this matchup would have been to hit the minions early on in their throws, either with a 6P or with a j.S. As it stood, Marcie was able to get too many set up and had the edge. Further, Marcie's backdashes were able to keep them in the game, big time. Leffen might want to adjust his blockstrings to punish them sometimes. I also particularly enjoy that three permutations of this near-corner minion setup on Sol's wakeup situation were shown. At 6:45, Marcie expects the wakeup DP and uses the minion counter. Leffen doesn't take the bait and kills Marcie for it. At 9:24, Marcie uses a throw to beat the DP. And at 10:38, not to be dissuaded, Leffen decides to DP the damn minion already and wins the exchange.
0:53 How does that deal so much damage with so little RISC? Daisukes vision truly flips from a nice summer day to a Siberian blizzard within an instant.
bro Sol really kill Jack-O' in the first game, I guess that's what marital arguments are like according to Guilty Gear. 2:11 what happened here?? Leffen flew like a plane with Bandit Revolver. I mean, the times I trained with Sol I didn't remember that he had so much range
Dont worry they're just arguing about who cooks dinner that night
That's accurate smh
As if Jack-o can cook
@@xSOUL_1 She had whole lotta knowledge of this earth so maybe she could do it.
0:53 least damaging sol combo

Getting a counter hit close slash does big dmg, coupled with sol being sol bd Jack-o having no hp Daisuke truly created a fun experience for Jack-o
Counter hit + Sol's DP scalling + low hp Jack-O
0:53 mf did c.S dash cancel c.S clean hit DP and took 60%
Marriage lore:
The sheer amount of wakeup dps is insane
