Advance Photoshop Retouching Time-lapse of Luxury Watch Minus-8

Minus-8, a new brand of watches by the amazing designers at Astro Studios (www.astrostudio...) in collaboration with PCH International (www.pchintl.com/), requires the same dedicated attention to detail to photograph and photoshop as it does to design and manufacture. Thomas Kuoh Photography (www.kuohphotogr...) was fortunate enough to receive this challenge. Here's just a short snippet of what went into the retouching of this fine time piece.
We start out by photographing the watch, paying careful attention to every single detail, facet, marker, watch hand, and light specifically to optimize the beauty of all the components and shoot the watch in numerous pieces. We then assemble those pieces in photoshop to begin the retouching process. We painstakingly outline every shape and form and dial in the right flavor to showcase the texture and highlight the detailed design elements.
The result is a perspective on the watch that really showcases the intent of the design without anything to distract from it's form and beauty.
For this project we photographed 14 watches, 4 angles each. 3.5 days of photography time, and 3-5 hours of retouching time per angle.
