Is this a real Sharp TV? Or is it like a rebranded Vestel? Thanks for the video. Gave a great impression of the device. Also, I notice it has the older Android TV interface without all the commercial garbage that pushes content from all kinds of streamingservices. I uninstalled the update on my Nvidia Shield to get this interface back. How is this the interface on this TV? Did Sharp keep the old one? Or will this be updated to the newer crappy interface?
Btw, how big is Sharp in Poland as a brand? They still have a factory there, right? Or maybe they sold it, but they still make the tv's there? Does that mean in Poland the brand still has some push? Or is it like here in the Netherlands were people don't even consider the brand anymore?
It depends on which end of the market you buy.
If you buy a low end sharp it's basically a vestel tv. This is a company in turkey who makes TV's for hundreds of company's. The only difference between one Vestal TV and another is the badge on the front. You can tell because you see a cheap supermarket TV like “digihome" or “cello" have exactly the same menus and features as the sharp branded one
If you buy a high end sharp. It will most probably be designed by sharp themselves with its own GUI, features and technology and will be better than the Vestal clones.
Sharp EU market TVs are now made by Sharp Poland factory (UMC). This is Quantum dot display high end model similar to Samsung QLED TV. Vestal made Sharp home appliances ( WM, DW, Fridge, induction hobs) Vestal make popular TVs brands such as JVC & Toshiba under license agreement and Panasonic budget models are assembled in Vestal Factory. During 2015-2018 Sharp TV sold in USA were made by Hisense but Sharp regained the license back due to inferior quality TV made by Hisense.

Ako može mala pomoć. Treba mi 50" TV za dnevnu sobu, trenutno imam Sharp 42" star 10 godina sa aquos panelom i služio me je besprekorno. Bacio sam oko na ovaj model, kod nas U Srbiji se tek pojavio i cena mu je oko 600e. Kakvog su kvaliteta trenutno Sharp televizori, tu mislim prevashodno na kvalitet slike i da li mi je bolji izbor da idem na TCL C725, Hisense U7QF, LG nano ili neki od Samsung modela u tom cenovnik rangu?

@@ramaglierame5984 *tu oublie panasonic reste le meilleur ! Depuis que Pioneer a arrêté de fabriquer des TV tous ou pratiquement les ingénieurs de Pioneer TV sont partie chez panasonic déjà qu a l époque panasonic faisait jeux égal avec Sony*

4:06 my current PHILIPS 58PUD8532/12 (Not the one to watch. I've posted videos to show the AV sync and dirty screen effect problems I have with ait since it was only 5 months old) had that home screen menu. But after updates it changed to a different home screen which I don't like.
I much rather that home screen but even after a new install it reverts to the new home screen shortly after the new os install which is frustrating.
