I just wanted to cover this song because I like it a lot and anything bach sounds great using synths.

straight up sounds like it could be the soundtrack to a long forgotten early jrpg game.
honestly, they should be putting more bach in video games. Catherine had little fugue in g. that was cool. it's not like you have to get the rights to it or anything
Bach sounds good here very nice
thank you! I did another bach prelude here if you want to check it out.

Rosalyn Tureck was right. You can play Bach on any instrument and it will sound good. The man was a genius.
absolutely agree. the goat imo
as the comments suggested - could be in FAITH - The Unholy Trinity
very nice!
it was funny reading that because you had told me you like that game's ost!
@@derekmessink i do! It uses square waves too! Even if they are synthesized ones
I feel like this could be in any of the Faith games, great work!
that's funny a friend was just telling me about the soundtrack for that game. i'd love to have any of the music i do be in a game.
This immediately reminds me of SimCity on the SNES
nice! I'll have to check out that OST.
nice! keep it up!
Thank you!
Very cool
thank you!
sabrewulf ZX Spectrum title music
ZX is such a great pallette lol
imagine showing Bach this
he'd be like, oh, that little thing I played once, people 300 years later still listen to it? he'd be amazed i think.
That's not the prelude and fugue, it's just the prelude!
lol dang man I don't know what I was thinking there.
Could you do art of the fugue?
that's a pretty long piece so I don't really see myself doing that one in particular. my favorite piece is passacaglia so I might try that someday if I'm ambitious. i manually transcribe into famitracker so it's a bit of work vs just auto importing the sheet music or something. stay tuned! oh and maybe check out some of the original songs I've written. I have a playlist with all my 8 bit stuff
@JacksoniteMusic oh ya, if you're doing it by hand, then contrapunctus 5 is only 2 minutes 33 seconds long on average. But anything for bach is good. I feel like I've heard plenty of versions from Wendy Carlos to other chip and synth versions, but this one sounds among the nicest.
@@BearOldcastle bach translates super nicely to 8 bit and synths in general. this was my first attempt so I just wanted to try something simple and see how it worked out. I'm glad you like the sound. I'll try another piece hopefully soon
@@derekmessink I really wanna hear Passacglia, I love it

A través de la música puedes encounter God, por eso no debes tener miedo
i like to compare this song to this song ruclips.net/video/nHTge_7aovM/видео.html , as a point of contrast
I dig it

100% certain
The echo effect does not sounds good here.
