As for me, I have my first medjool harvest about a month away...but only a kilogram or so, sadly.
I recently bought medjool dates from the supermarket, but they were imported from California. Wish they would sell the ones grown in Alice Springs. Prefer buying from home. ( Australia. )
Deglet Nour is the best ever 😉 Ps: using plastic bags to protect the fruit gives a plastic taste on the fruit later on...polinisation cant be efficient of done from the ground... It has to be done manually on the top of the tree

Do you have to pollinate with each specific variety? Can you take pollen from a male Medjool and pollinate a female Barhi, for example?
